This Denny’s had been here for years! It quickly gained a reputation for the worst Denny’s around. If you like sarcastic lazy waiters and waitresses, then this is the place for you. Be happy its closed, did us all a favor. Hopefully they’ll put another restaurant here and close down the SAT school they propped up inside this haunted Denny’s.

Nothing special. Just dated Denny’s. Their ranch is still the best I think.

The BEST Denny’s I have every been to! I’ve been coming here for weeks straight studying for boards. — I usually go to denny’s to study. Since not a lot of people come here, it’s quiet enough to concentrate and get things done! — Outlet for my macbook available + Free Wi-Fi :) — Service is on point! Very friendly and willing to conversate. — I have to hold my breath and cover my nose before I enter their bathroom. X__X! — I loved their blueberry pancake puppies!!! but alas, they were a limited time. — If you do plan on coming here, even Friday and Saturday nights are not that bad. Buena Park Denny’s on Beach has free Wi-Fi, but customers are extremely rowdy!

I used to go here alot as a kid, but now it’s pretty much a dead diner only a few high school kids or old seniors in the area go to. They have the2−4 – 6−8 menu as well as breakfast. I got the chicken cordon bleu, my friends ordered unlimited pancakes, a nacho pizza looking thing, and mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were awesome, really delicious, just how I always remembered them. The nacho pizza thing, wasn’t to my liking. It’s not my personal taste, but my friends liked it. The pancakes were good, very large. As for the sandwich, the toast and cheese with ham and battered chicken were really nice and flavorful. But, I didn’t like the chicken, the batter was too hard. so I took it out. The fries that came with were really thick, they were good. It was pretty empty and the server checked on us quite often. Don’t think I’ll come here often though.

Hmm, how do I rate a Denny’s? Well, most locations have pretty ok breakfast meals, so I think I would rate the location based on their service. Before I get into that, the location is somewhat clean, restrooms could use a bit of attention though. Anyways, came in for some coffee and a small breakfast meal as I waited for someone. The service was pretty good, food was served with good time, well made and good attitudes. The waitress kept coming around for coffee refills and to see if I needed anything else. If their service is always like this, I wouldn’t mind coming back to this location for those late, drunk nights of partying ha ha.

If you like dinner theater this the place to go. I’ve been at that location twice when it got robbed. If you go after 11pm, you will always see loud, drunk people walk in(that’s pretty entertaining). The servers hate their job and you can tell(I would too if it was always getting robbed and full of drunk people). Once in awhile, you’ll witness a break-up. If you’re lucky, it’ll be like watching Sammy and Ron breaking up on the Jersey Shore.

Dined here last weekend with my family for breakfast. Waitress I think her name was Bea, was a bit on the sarcastic side. Maybe that is her sense of humor, but really not appropriate for people who are just waking up and wanting to start their Sunday morning off nicely. Food wise, seems Denny’s quality and taste of food has changed. Pancakes are not as fluffy as they use to be and sausage was a bit on the dry side. Portions seem to have gotten smaller as well. I think IHop may have a leg up on Dennys.

#147 We’ve usually ended up here because of a late night out. Fries and tons of ketchup, please! Unfortunately, the place isn’t too clean and the help isn’t fantastic. However, the food always hits the spot and it’s there for you on those hangover mornings!

Having breakfast with my family… yummy yummy. Service a little slow, too slow for an empty restaurant. The server was really nice, which made up for the lack of attentiveness. Overall cost was affordable(or even cheep)… Definitely beats cooking and cleaning on a Sunday morning at home!

i’ve always enjoyed the simple and cheap food at Denny’s, but not at this location anymore. 1-star for the crappy service from the waiter and the lie I was told about the milk shake portion that«they changed their menu that you no longer get the extra shakes in the tin cup» which I later check the Denny’s corp website that there was no change made.

like the other reviewer said what else can you say about this place besides the service is not really good. The foods not all that good and god for bid if you come in with a coupon and have a child with you because they will give you the choice for the free kids meal or what ever the coupon is for witch sucks. This place has dwindled down and down over the years from what it used to be.

Slow service, bad food(even when drunk!), bad times. Avoid at all costs. I wish Diamond Bar had a mom and pop family style diner(pref. one that was open 24 hours), but this is all that the soul-less town of bad chain restaurants can provide.

IHOPCANTAKENOTES FLUFFYPANCAKES! I always thought Denny’s had good breakfast menu and after countless disappointments at IHOP when I wanted some hotcakes I’ll give it up to Denny’s for their consistent delivery. Greasy food is what you get at Denny’s and sometimes(especially after drinking at the club) you need a diet of fatty food to make you feel alive! LOL Denny’s is like an ex-boyfriend. They’re open 24hrs a day and will give you that«no-no» kinda lovin that you’ll regret the next morning. But DAMN it taste good while you’re there! I ordered the chicken sandwhich which was on toasted sourdough w/swiss cheese, bacon and tomato and side of seasoned fries. Besides it shrinking to half its size since my hs years it was yummy! I like to put tabasco sauce in my ranch for dipping too =) Zesty nachos is also a great fattening appetizer! Oh yes, and they now offer«half sizes» for lesser cost on alot of the dishes. Which means lesser calories if you care. I’m giving them 4 stars cuz it’s cheap, does its job fills me up and is open 24hrs. If you’re expecting fine dining or superb service take your snooty ass home and scramble your own eggs and make your own toast and bacon at 3 in the morning. Today’s free Grand Slam Day until 2pm!

What can you say about Denny’s that hasn’t been said? Everyone knows what Denny’s offers so it’s almost pointless to write about them. The only angle one can offer is the actual architecture of this particular establishment. Unfortunately, there’s not much to say about it. It’s located right across the street from Diamond Bar High School just off the Pathfinder exit from the 57, so it could get pretty busy at times. The good thing about a busy Denny’s is that you’ll know you’re not eating long-frozen food or bread that’s been around for awhile. The downside is that you could wait for a seat for a long time. This Denny’s is no better and no worse than other average Denny’s you’ve been to. It’s straight down the middle and as average as average can get. DB Food Critic Rating: Cook It At Home

Oh Denny’s, how you make me proud to live in Diamond Bar. Opening at all time of the day and night, offering amazing late night meals that satisfy my hunger at anytime. Sure, you have the ability to make me gain 5 pounds in one plate(the Slamburger for instance), but that’s just fine because you taste amazing. Every succulent bite into any piece of food in my fork will have me wanting to jump up and down with unfathomable excitement. The water, horribly tapped like all Denny’s, but I do not fear – you have the power of the lemon, or Sprite. There is one thing I do not understand… why do you serve so slow? Why must you tease me as I wait for your delicious plate of satisfaction. Is it because I am the only party there and you have no one else to tease 3 in the morning? For this, I must give you 4 instead of 5 stars.

Chicken noodle soup with salty crackers fed two. The bacon in it makes it taste more filling My friend chose the strawberry mango pucker, but it is a transparent red drink, so the mango flavoring must have been from syrup. The pineapple dream is good. Its made out of 7Up and lime juice too.
