I brought a flats in for resoling the bottom and been told I will be charge «$ 52» for that. Yes, I can defiantly buy a new shoes with that price. I asked for cheaper option and the guy told me there’s none, leather bottom will be more expensive than that. He told me to think about it and turned around told the other guy «she doesn’t want to pay.» I immediately walked out the store and would never come back.

Fantastic! 7 minutes and my shoes look great! Kind cobbler! Will return and will tell all my friends!

Worker is pretty rude, doesn’t seem to know what he’s talking about. Used some sort of cheap looking dye on my shoe that ended up stripping it of its original color

Came here to restore a pair of my heels. Out of every pair, both expensive and cheap, this pair is my favorite and I really wanted to wear them tonight, so at about 3:40pm I brought them to get the heel restored and the scratches covered up and such. I was able to pick them up the same day (6:00pm) lt cost me $ 15 to touch up the color buff out all the scratches and revamp the black leather and renew the heel. A day at the nail salon costs more than that, so I have no problem paying 15 for my shoes. They did a great job. I might bring a pair of my more expensive shoes in, just to see if they’re just the place to do light touch up work or if they’re good enough to handle any job.

I like the workmanship and I will alway support the little guy. The prior reviews re rude are mostlikely rude customers. The prices are fair and you get what you pay for. Definitely a craftsman.

Quality repairs and great customer service! This is the only place I will take my shoes.

Way over priced. Same experience as the others. There used to be a Black guy there. I brought a shoe in to be repaired. Sewing had come undone, just needed a couple of stitches. He said it’d be $ 7. I thought, that’s great, a real bargain! Then when I came to pick it up he wanted 8 more dollars. I asked the price, he told me 7 dollars, he didn’t say it was a 7 dollar deposit on a $ 15 charge. I paid it because it’s cheaper than a new pair of shoes and I figured I couldn’t do anything else. They did a good job though. When I brought in the other shoe there was a Latino guy there and he only charged me $ 10, so I figure the other guy just pocketed the rest.

The people here definitely overcharge. 16 dollars for resoling on the bottom of the shoe and 32 dollars for the front resoling bottom. They were very rude as well and said obviously it’s expensive do you want to protect your shoe. When I picked up the shoe they wiped the gloss they used to seal the shoe rubber sole onto the sides of the shoe which made the patent leather less shiny. I asked the worker to shine them and he said it was probably like this when you came in and he doesn’t see anything. He said to come back tomorrow and we said we would wait and he said it would take an hour. We sat there and after 10 minutes he said he was done. I said didn’t you say it would take an hour and he said he lied so that we would go away. He said he makes 80 dollars an hour and he already worked on the shoe and doesn’t have time for us. He said to never come back and find another shoe place. Now my new shoe is not a shiny patent leather and he didn’t even take responsibility. We asked if he could give us a cleaner for it and he said you’d have to buy it. He was very rude and the place is overpriced. Don’t go there!

Brought in two pairs of ladies heels for replacement. Fairly good job, however very expensive, IMHO. We are not talking about the sole of the shoes, but just to replace the rubber at the heels. Two pairs for $ 27.50! What the heck!!! The repairman said it was mostly labor, and profit to keep the shop open. With prices like that, better to shut down. Rip off… I had my pair of shoes re-​soled at Nordstroms for the same price, but you are talking about more work and materials. How much work and materials do you need for 2 pairs of ladies skinny heels?

If I could give no stars I would. The owner of this shoe repair is rude, arrogant, and possibly the worst business man I’ve ever encountered. Initially, I brought in a pair of white suede pumps purchased at Barneys which needed heel repair and a good cleaning. The man ran his dirty, black shoe polish covered hands all over the white suede leaving permanent stains on my pumps! Because of this, I politely expressed my concern and asked him to be careful with them.
He then threw my shoes at me and told me to get out of his store. Shocked, I asked him why he was acting in this manner, however, I neither got explanation or any eye contact. His conduct left me in a bad mood all day and thus led me to writing my first review.
