Read the warnings. This dentist will tell you that you need a deep cleaning and try to get you to overpay for it. He is a crook. Luckily we were double covered under another PPO and could see an honest dentist. No deep cleaning necessary. There are honest dentists out there but this is not 1 of them. Keep looking…

Okay, i have read Dr. Mousally’s reviews and am adding my own after seeing him for the second time. I see validity in both the good and bad reviews but i think it depends on your perspective and also how important you think it is to take good care of your teeth. Dr. Mousally will give your teeth a general inspection upon first visit and he will talk prices with you, many of them very expensive and possibly not covered by your insurance. The impression that i got from him though, was that he knows what hes talking about and knows it very well, almost like an artist. I believe if he was located in Beverly Hills, he would thrive. I paid out of pocket to have a tooth bonded and the finished result was spectacular. He was very honest with me in that the bonding may not solve my dental erosion problem and i may need to address the root of the issue. I am hoping not, though. He does appear to have state of the art equipment and he and Suzanne (who also runs the office) are very gentle, even when giving me the anesthetic shot. It wasnt that bad at all. As for the result, i was genuinely floored. Granted, ive never had bonding done before and dont know typically how they turn out, but when they handed me the mirror to look i honestly didnt know which tooth had been bonded. It was an amazing sight to see. They have financing if needed, and i will probably return because with Dr. Mousally it is a case of you get what you pay for. He isnt interested in just patching up your teeth, if thats what youre after. He is going to do everything he can to get you to having brilliant, healthy, working teeth.

I just recently went to this dentist for a scheduling routine cleaning. Instead, I walked into just a simple check and examination with nothing done.
I initially scheduled the appointment for a routine cleaning. When I walked in, the dentist’s sister helped me get set up. After waiting 10 min in the dental chair, I was greeted by the dentist.
His initial examination was done with no X-​raying and just an inspection with some poking of my gums.
After he was done poking and looking, he made the observation that I required a deep teeth cleaning that will have my entire mouth numbed and my gums would be scrubbed and cleaned.
He first asked if I floss and I informed him I do twice a day (which I do religiously). Then he made a comment that I am young and in order to avoid problems in the future, that a deep cleaning is the solution to this so called «silent killer».
My initial reaction was to give the dentist the benefit of the doubt. Granted he is the one who has far greater knowledge about teeth maintenance. So I choose to hear the dentist’s sister on what my co-​pay would be.
She initial tells me how much the cost of the deep cleaning would be without insurance. $ 2,000.00 for a deep cleaning!!! So she continues and says that with my insurance, my co-​pay would be $ 998.00 total. Now I am no expert in the field of dentistry, but something tells me that this is a new trend where dentists are pushing to sell deep cleaning as a way to increase profit. So knowing all the information, I tell the assistant that I only would like a regular routine cleaning. She responds by saying how they would not do the regular cleaning since a deep cleaning is necessary.
Now prior to coming to this dentist, I had a deep cleaning done 7 months ago from my previous dentist. In some ways, I feel I was also bamboozled in paying for that service as well.
At the end of the appointment, I was left with not only time wasted but also disappointment in a potential long term customer/​dentist relationship.
If you are looking for an honest dentist and you have a HMO dental plan, I highly recommend you avoid this practice.

He’s a caring professional who takes the time to explain each procedure and provides outstanding results. His assistant Suzanne compliments the doctor not only with procedures, but outlines costs, completes insurance forms and makes you feel «at ease» during each visit!
I’f your in need of a devoted dental profession, I would strongly recommend Dr. Mousally for your entire family.

Dr Mousally is such a nice person and a fantastic dentist. He sits with you and explains whatever work that needs to be done and tries to be as gentle as possible. His assistant Suzanne is equally nice and together they make the experience of going to the dentist far more pleasant. They love what they do and it definitely shows in the quality of care they give.

My family and I have been going to Dr Mousally for over 10 years because of his caring attitude and expertise. My four sons have had no anxiety problems going to see their dentist and are able to talk to Dr Mousally and his assistant Suzanne when they are in the office — Suzanne would even hold their hand when they are sitting on the chair if they are uneasy. Dr Mousally explains in detail any areas of concern and his approach for taking care of a problem. He always does excellent work!

He’s an amazing dentist who does great work. I wouldn’t trust any other dentist with my teeth!
