Near New Novels Bookstore

Belle is my hero (ine). She’s a Disney princess AND she reads books! Brains and beauty — my kinda gal.
As much as my love for reading was cheered on by Belle, it was squelched by soaring book prices and the public library (carrier of stinky, grimy books with nasty plastic covers and late fees). So what a relief to find a USED book store in the area! The closest used store that I previously knew of was in Pasadena. Too far for me.
Near New Novels has first off, an amazing staff. Everytime I go in, I’m greeted like royalty. They pretty much drop everything to say howdy and ask if you need help. There’s plenty of places to sit (nice cozy sitting couches in the front), books are well organized and categorized, and this place is like the holy grail of romance novels. Wish I liked them, I would be in heaven!
They have a pretty decent collection between new and old. All prices are 50% off cover price unless otherwise indicated. Of course, they also act as a book exchange — bring in your old paperback, get a «new» one, and pay 75% of the cover price. All exchanges are done at a one-​to-​one ratio (hardback for hardback, paper for paper — no concern for price). Unfortunately, they don’t have a cash out system, which deems the 3-​star rating.
