The bowling is decent. But the snack bar is a joke. The two girls first told us that they were closing for 10 minutes(at about 9), then when we came back they said 30 minutes cause they were«backed up on orders.» Then they closed the snack bar and left. Another employee said that the snack bar was closed because they were«out of supplies,» on a Saturday, at 9? Pathetic. Good thing there are plenty of other restaurants around, and no I will not abide by the«no outside food» policy. Other than that… oak tree is ok. Happy bowling!

First time here. $ 10 special for 2hr bowling including shoe rental. I prefer Round 1 because of the arcade and karaōke. But bowling is just as fun here.

Excellent place to visit! It’s a very good bowling alley, if You’re on tight budget! Very friendly staff, and there’s many nearby fast food restaurants in case you get hungry! It’s a very fun and relaxing place to spend some spare of time

This place rocks! Pomona is pretty much the lamest place ever in terms of nightlife. But this place solves that problem for me. The bowling is fun of course, but the bar downstairs is where the real fun is. It has darts, free pool, live bands, and good drinks. The people that go here are so friendly. Every time I go I end up meeting someone super interesting! Security is really nice to. My friend drank a little too much one time, and instead of kicking us out and getting pissed, security and the bar tender helped us out. All around good place to hang. Denise the bartender is super chill and friendly! Definitely makes the night better when the person pouring the drinks is a fun and outgoing person.

We went there on a Wed night around 830, We did the special, $ 10.50 for 2 hours unlimited bowling, rental shoes included. Lanes are ok, but the lanes were really dry. Other than that, only other note is the scoring computer sometimes didn’t get the score right, we had to do corrections around 10 times.

A good local watering hole. One of the few places in Diamond Bar that serves alcohol.

This is a pretty average bowling place, nothing special. My friends and I came on a Weds night and the guy at the front desk was pretty nice and polite. The shoes felt comfortable and were easy to slip on. At this point I wasn’t intrigued by anything, it was just like any other place. We paid 10.50 per person(for shoes and the hours) which was fine with me. The setup of the bowling games were pretty easy and the service was okay, our lane got jammed so we had to ask them to fix it but it took a while which took out the time we paid for… The food was also pretty average, ordered the popcorn chicken w/fries and onion rings(came out to $ 10) the food wasn’t anything special either, pretty average at an overpriced cost for what you receive. When I first entered the building. I felt a comfortable atmosphere knowing this is going to be fun! There are daily deals they offer in certain time, which can benefit you for saving cash. Besides the whole cash savings, the employees are very nice. Fastest response time ever seen! In my personal opinion, Oak Tree Lanes doesn’t have a high popularity reputation. Regardless of its location, it is probably one of the best bowling place I have been to. Would come here next time! 11⁄10

I came here with some friends last night around 10:45PM. It was my first time bowling, so pretty much everything seemed interesting. The place was really busy that night, but we only waited 10 minutes for a lane. We ended up paying 8 dollars each for shoes and 3 games. I was told by my boyfriend that was pretty cheap for bowling. They seemed to have a decent amount of balls, and the place was relatively clean. We really enjoyed the first two games, but during the third one they turned the lane off on us. Apparently at 12AM, they shut everything off, regardless if you were in the middle of a game that you paid for. I think they should’ve allowed us to at least finish our game since we paid for it.

Very low key bowling alley. Good for weekday specials. Thursday after 8:30pm is cheap($ 2 shoes and $ 2 games). Check website for more details. They have a pretty decent snack bar with good priced food. It is typical bowling snacks like hot dogs, fries, nachos, and even sandwiches. The service was poor and also at the front desk, we waited 5 minutes to even pay for the games. Shoes for rent are SUPER worn down. Lane we bowled on were sticky and caught the ball the wrong way down the lane. Also has a small arcade section. The bar in the alley seemed messy. Customers were reaching in and helping themselves to the limes/lemons and the bartender was spilling drinks.

Nice family activity in Diamond Bar. Groupon has a deal $ 30 for 4 to bowl 2 hours– that’s pretty much the attention span of my 7 and 4 year olds. Mom and dad can bowl, play with the kids while enjoying a beer and wings?! That’s a win for all involved!

Great, knowledgeable people working there. Way better prices then the other bowling alley(won’t mention name, but you know). It’s clean, airy, professional! Thumbs up!

Strike Strike Strike and I haven’t bowled in years My friends invited me here for a fun night I really didn’t want to bowl, I wasn’t feeling well. But, then they kept asking and I ended up getting several strikes. It was a fun time. They looked at me and said, «yeah right? You haven’t bowled in years!!!». Seriously, I haven’t. Their bowling lanes are well maintained Yet, where you sign in can be a hassle, because groups tend to congregate where you sign in. So there really is no designated line to stand in. Hey a nice little white stripe on the floor or poles with those straps to form a line. Or tell your group to wait off to the side. One person working the counter and he was pretty cool but overwhelmed with people. Definitly a nice place to come back to

Oak tree is a diamond bar staple. Drinks specials every Tuesday and Thursday, but their full priced drinks are still super cheap. The facility itself is worn down and the shoes can use some replacing, but the bowling prices make up for it. The customer service is always great and they’re always willing to fix any problem we might have. Last time I was here they gave us a voucher for a free hour of bowling because we had to move to another lane so they could clean the lanes we were at. Overall, a great, nearby place to get your bowl on and have fun with friends.

Fun place to bowl in diamond bar! Saturday night they have a deal.$ 14 per person for 3 ½ hrs of bowling and shoe rental. We tried the chicken quesadilla and nachos which were not bad, pretty average. They let you request songs to play which is fun! Also you can drink at the bowling lane not just at the bar. The bar itself is cool and has several pool tables and arcade games. One of the tables was broken, so we were able To access the pool balls for free without having to pay. One of the bartenders(guy) was cool. the girl not so much. She seemed irritated when we asked her a question, oh well we will come back for the bowling.

I’m pretty sure the last time I came here was when I was like 12 years old. The décor and absolutely nothing else about this place looks like it has changed in the past 12 years either. If you’re looking for old school, you’ve definitely found it in this bowling lane. My boyfriend and I came with my sister and her husband after dinner on a Saturday night and he paid $ 50 for all four of us for two hours with shoe rentals. I personally think that price is a little on the higher side but if you can come when there’s a special or deal then you should definitely take advantage of that. You can request music via your phone browser and they play the music videos on the televisions while you bowl. They were completely out of 10 pound balls that night because all the other lanes were using them so we had to make do with the 12 pound balls. I’ve never eaten or had drinks here so I can’t say much about the sports bar and the food but it looks like pretty stereotypical stadium food that you would get. While the parking lot is large, they need to do some repaving of the lot because there are some potholes and there’s really nothing particularly memorable about Oak Tree Lanes to begin with.

I grew up and learned how to bowl at this lane, and so it’s definitely a big part of my childhood and I always have a sense of nostalgia whenever I walk in. With that being said, it does seem kind of old — I feel like the carpet has stayed the same in the 20 years that I’ve been here, and the snack bar and alcohol bar hasn’t changed much over the years too. What has changed is the keypad and software used! The cartoons are quite amusing, and the arcade machines seem to be upgraded every few years. However, nostalgia can only take it so far — the big issue are the lanes, which is problematic because this is a bowling alley. Far too often, the arm doesnt come down, or the incorrect number of pins is counted — this is especially frustrating when one pin can mean a world of difference in scoring. The lanes and the machines operating behind the scenes definitely, urgently need an upgrade and maybe change out the carpet too?

It’s been months since I’ve been here. The prices are reasonable. They remodeled the place. What throws me off about this place is how crazy slippery their floors are now. Makes it super dangerous.
