At first I was skeptical because of the complaints I read. But I was wrong. The staff was very helpfull and friendly. Doctor Terry was attentive and cared about my issue. He cleaned my ear and after 2 months of not being able to hear I can finally use both ears:). I feel like a new person. And I appreciate all of his efforts to help me.

I’m only giving a review on the receptionist who answered my call about the cost of an earwax extraction since I’ve never stepped into this office. The receptionist was really irritated as soon as she answered the call. She was rather curt and I don’t understand why that would be the case. I only asked relevant questions and kept the call brief.

Great office to go to !! At the last minute I needed help and these guys were ready to help! My favorite ENT!!!

This doctor and his staff were very professional. The doctor was very professional and how he helped me with my ear The secretaries at the front desk even went as far as to help me find a pharmacy near me I recommend this place to anyone who’s having ear nose or throat issues.

Dr. Scott and his staff were very helpful when I got there. After running my insurance provider they let me know that I was in network and what I should be expecting as far as my side of the bill would be. I feel like Dr. Scott was very genuine in all of his responses as far as alternatives or solutions for what was needed for my diagnosis. I’ve met with a lot of doctors and a lot of times they didn’t give me more than 10 – 15 minutes. Dr. Scott spent a lot of time with me I and it really figuring out what I needed to help me solve my problems with my sinuses. I definitely recommend Dr. Scott for any sinus issues.

After several rounds of treatment with Dr Scott, I can definitely say he’s a professional, trustworthy physician. I first came to him and explained that I was weary about treatment for my sinuses because I had issues with previous dentist/​doctors and insurance billing. Dr Scott and his staff walked me through the differences between in network and out of network prices and also provided me with different treatment options. Can’t recommend him enough. The office is clean and definitely accessible from San Gabriel valley, Orange County and the inland Empire.

I tried this doctor after years of ineffective treatment of my ENT problems with no relief found. Dr. Scott was fabulous he ran tests and was able to properly diagnosis my problem instead of just issuing medications to treat the symptoms. After my surgery his staff assisted me in handling my insurance claim and billing issues and even discounted my out of pocket costs. Thanks to Dr. Scott I finally feel normal again.

It is crazy how I was not the only one who experienced this deal with the insurance. Ultimately my story is not much different than the two above, so you can read those. To add in my account, I had to pay additional fees for tests that were taken in another office on their recommendation. The bill was big enough. To be fair they have called me back since, and I have edited this review after talking with them. They apologized for the misunderstanding and suggested that for the next time to ask to be referred to those higher up, and that it would have been taken care of. Things could have been different if it was handled this way.
Finally I had surgery to remove 2 cysts from my lip, the surgery did not go as well as i hoped, but the cysts have not returned.
Overall, to be fair, I have to add some of my positive experiences as well. This includes the dr. Scott who was easy to work with and was helpful in whatever ways he could be. I also had another surgery for swollen turbinates which went very well and I’m thankful for to this day.

I should have listened to the other reviews about their shady insurance practices! I had a really unfortunate experience with this office. I did not see the Dr. So this review is based on the way their office has operated. I called at the beginning of last week to get an appointment because I was in pain and had already been to urgent care. I asked them to make sure they were in network with my insurance. I asked them to call and check my benefits to make sure prior to my appointment. Unfortunately instead of promptly doing so they waited the full week and literally called 10 minutes prior to my appointment when I had already got to their office (a 45 minute drive for me). Which I explained to the receptionist that I lived this far when I made the appointment. They offered to then treat me as a cash patient– Um NO! So now I am still in pain after waiting a week to be seen and tomorrow I will have to call around to find out who may be able to see me in another week or so… How inconsiderate is this office!

My family and I have been going to Dr. Scott for over 20 years. We have a PPO and can go wherever we chose, but we would not go anywhere else. The reason why I love Dr. Scott is because he has the greatest bedside manner and is extremely caring. His staff is extremely polite and professional. That is important because if I do not like the staff, I am not going to keep going to a doctor whose staff I hate, no matter how good he or she is. I first starting going to him a long time ago because my left ear was always hurting and I had excruciating headaches that went with the ear pain. I was put on antibiotic after antibiotic by doctors — including specialists — who claimed my ear looked okay, but it could be an inner ear infection. I went to Dr. Scott, and within one minute, or less, he said, «I already know what you got, but keep going.» He said I have TMJ. After suffering needlessly for two years, he took care of the problem in one visit. I still suffer from TMJ, so I see him regularly for it because he is very conservative in treating TMJ and does not recommend a surgery that does not always help. We have allergy, sinus problems, and my son has ashma. It is thanks to this caring doctor that we keep our conditions under control. I highly recommend you see Dr. Scott. His staff will treat you with respect. There are a lot of snobby people who come into the office and expect to get their butts kissed. In 20 years, trust me, I have witnessed it first-​hand. My family nor I, nor all the people I have referred over the years have never had a problem with Dr. Scott or his staff. He will also call you back ASAP if you ever call him off hours. He is the greatest!!!

Being an allergy sufferer for awhile now, I finally found a great ENT doctor that I’m happy with! This office has a very professional staff and made me comfortable from the start. I highly recommend Dr. Scott, I will not go anywhere else.

I came into Dr. Scott’s office with absolutely no hope. I have been suffereing from allergies and sinuses my whole life, and now 24 years old I had to seek some help. I was referred to Dr. Scott through a family friend and honestly do not even know where to begin when it comes to the experience. It was amazing! Dr. Scott went out of his way so much for me and the staff, especially the office manager Susie, who helped me figure out my insurance since this is the first time I am on my own plan. They made things so easy and every thing went by so quick. One minute i was suffering, by the time i left my first visit i was so much better! I had the laser surgery and I am completely in love with the results. I can breath! The recovery was same day and I just cannot brag enough about the kindness and quality of this doctors office. They have helped me through so much and i definitely recommend them to anyone with sinus/​allergy problems, if you really have lost hope there is still some!!! :)

I’ve never had such a wonderful experience. From the parking to the easy access (bottom floor) of a professional building to not to far from the freeway exit. The lobby itself is comfy and clean. The staff is very personal and professional and understanding. I had a procedure done in March this year and it was both comfortable and painless. The doctor was very genuine and friendly and showed importance in his voice about a follow up appointment to check on me. I will never choose another ENT doctor… I found my perfect place :)

I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Scott for any and all of my ENT medical needs, his staff is very professional and a pleasure to work with, they do inform you from the start about any and all insurance issues and are more than willing to offer any assistance you may need. My experiences in his office have always been top of the notch medical care. Dr. Scott is a true professional and know his medical practice answering any and all questions I put before him. Making an appointment is very very easy and the insurance process was gone over in detail with no misunderstanding.
I highly recommend Dr. Scott to my family, friends and to my patient’s in my practice in need of an ENT doctor.

I visited Dr. Scott for the first time last week after being referred to him by a friend who had the same sinus and allergy problems i am currently dealing with. After talking to her, she said you need to see Dr. Scott as he was able to assess and treat my symptoms accurately and he seemed to actually «care» about my current state and not just push me meds and get on to the next patient. So I set up my appointment immediately and met with Dr. Scott. Needless to say my friend was right and thats why i’m righting this post to inform you guys if you need an ENT specialist Dr. Scott is a great option as his staff treated me really well and seemed to all be engaged about how I was feeling. The thing I liked most about Dr. Scott was he was very thorough with his direction and reasoning to why I was feeling dizzy, congested and snoring like a mad woman! I have a second assessment coming up just to confirm this is the best option, but this is the first time i’ve have any type of useful assessment as to what has been occurring and why i’m feeling the way i do.

I received the best experience at Dr. Scott’s Ear Nose and Throat office. I had suffered with allergy sympotms well over 10 yrs. He was thorough and very informative. I highly recommend him. Unlike other medical offices I was able to get an appointment within the same week.

I walked in very dizzy… with nausea, fatigued… I was very light headed. Dr. Scott examined me for what we felt was Vertigo. He was very thorough… taking well over an hour with my husband & I to really be sure we knew what he was checking for… as this could be caused by several factors. Who knew? Dr. Scott has a wonderful bedside manor and was very interested in my symptoms & overall health. I was referred for a couple of other test (just to be sure) at Casa Colima, prescribed a couple of medications that have made my life so much easier today and asked to return after my tests for a final evaluation. I would highly recommend Dr. Scott. His 27 years of experience truly show in his knowledge and patient care methods. Thank You Dr. Scott.

Another complaint about shady and untruthful financial counselling. I suggest you also read the first review and be wary of the second planted one.
I went to Dr. Scott two years ago to have two rather major procedures done and am now writing this review because I have been slapped with a large bill out of no where two years later. I am a student and was hesitant to perform these at that time due to financials. He was out of network and understood my financial situation. I chose him because he promised me that he would work with me and account for the difference in the in/​out deductibles. I repeatedly asked him what the costs would be for the entirety of the procedure, and he said there would be none beyond his clinical costs
When I called his office, the insurance manager at his office was extremely rude, hostile, and impatient with me and refused to acknowledge the promise made by the doctor. I asked to see if I can talk to him in person, and she absolutely refused to let me talk to him unless I paid $ 150 out of pocket to have a patient visit. I was absolutely appalled by her treatment as it was unreasonable and unprofessional.
So now I’m stuck with a large bill two years later that I can’t even talk to the doctor about.
You can go to this clinic if you are planning to pay out of pocket. If you have insurance and he cuts you a deal, double check everything and make sure it’s in writing with his letterhead and signature.
I don’t think anyone deserves this kind of service and deception. Do your research. There should be other ENT doctors that have better reviews around the area.

Dr. Scott is a Great Doctor! I asked the person making my appointment is they were in network and she said no. Before seeing the Doctor I was taken into a private room and my benefits were explained. You need to know what to ask when scheduling an appointment.

Had a terrible experience at this doctor’s office. Called to make an appointment for an ear infection and gave the staff my insurance information. Asked if the office covered me, they said yes. Upon waiting 3 days to come in, and sitting and filling out paperwork for 45 minutes, i was brought into a room and rudely told by a staff member that they «covered» all insurance but were not «in network» therefore my visit would cost over $ 200…despite my copay only being $ 20. I don’t mind technicalities, but would have appreciated being informed when I called for the appointment. What’s worse is all the front office staff have really bad attitudes. I think this lack of informing people is used to mislead people into coming in, because some would just pay money to relieve their ear ache. I would have gladly waited three days with a terrible ear infection for someone who would actually see me who was «in network,» had they told me the truth. Instead, they said it was up to me to find out before coming if they would take me; that’s why I asked if I was covered when I called. I’m a normal person, not an insurance provider. I don’t know insurance lingo. In short… unless you have time and money to waste DON’T GO HERE. You will be better off going somewhere else where they are professional and will take your insurance.
