Structured Wiring by Rader

I recently had Structured Wiring come out to my house because I was having some problems with the loss of power in some rooms. Jason came out after I set up an appointment after finding him on Unilocal.I had no power in my bedroom for 2 weeks and he looked at some of my outlets and lighting and found some problems. Apparently my Husband thought he knew what he was doing when he recently changed some outlet plugs. Jason pointed out that some of the outlet wiring had been crossed and that’s where the problem started. After further inspection he found I had some wiring in the walls that was so old and needed to be changed and this was a big job. The wiring in my house was bad. Jason really worked with me and explained everything. Jason came back the very next morning with Gabriel and they worked so hard to fix all the issues in my old home. They climbed in my attic and placed new wiring and didn’t stop until the job was done. I think they are the best, when your older you never know who to trust but these guys proved to me how great they are. They really cared about doing a good job, explaining everything to me, and their pricing was great. My Husband is now banned from doing anything electrical in my house and thanks to Jason and Gabriel everything is working great. Thank you Jason and Gabriel for all your hard work I will definitely refer you to anyone who needs an electrician.

I was told that I needed a licensed electrician to help with some issues I was having in my home. I had absolutely no idea who to call and who to trust. I had heard about Unilocal before but never used it so I thought I would try. I searched through the reviews on different vendors and decided to go with Structured Wiring by Radar. My first contact was with Allen who was very helpful I explained the issues I was having and he quickly responded and gave me a quote. He set up an appointment to have Jason come out to my house. Jason came to my house at the scheduled time and we did a walk through and we went over the problems and he explained everything to me in detail so I could actually understand what he was talking about and what needed to be done. He got to work on it right away and found that I had some wiring problems in the wall and showed me where the wiring had actually started to burn. I have an older house and the wiring was old and needed to be replaced and he worked so hard and it was so nice that he even took the time to explain everything to me as he was doing the work. I actually learned a lot from him. It ended up being a two day job and he came back first thing the next morning and completed the job. He even called me to follow up with me to make sure everything was working good. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without his help he is very knowledgeable, professional, honest and his pricing is great. I have never taken the time to write a review in my life but I was so happy with his work I wanted to people to know what a good job he did. It feels really good to find someone to work for you that you can trust and I have no reservations what so ever in recommending him to everyone.

I used Structured Wiring for some issues I have in my house. I had lost power in two bedrooms and have not slept very well for the past week and a half worried that there might be a short in my house and that a fire would start. Jason came out and sure enough there was a problem. I used to be able to fix simple electrical problems but realized I am just too old. I don’t trust many people but this guy Jason was terrific. He came in worked all day long wasn’t afraid to get dirty in my attic. He ran new wiring and fixed the problem with the two bedrooms. He also fixed a hallway light that hasn’t worked in 10 years. This guy worked really hard to make sure everything was working before he left and I finally got a good night sleep. I have a few other electrical jobs I need done and I will be sure to have him come back. He is really smart and his prices are great.

These guys are AMAZING! Totally fixed our complicated Wifi issues and made our home theater look extra clean and sharp!

I’ve used Structured Wiring a couple of times now. The jobs ranged from 2 hours to whole days worth of work. Normally I don’t write reviews, but these hard working guys really deserve it.
I’ve dealt with both Jason and Alan and they are awesome.
I’m glad I decided to take a chance and go with the small shop to preform some commercial work. I spoke to 4 – 5 other big name contractors in the area and was not impressed with what I heard.
Jason was quick to respond to emails and calls, their pricing is extremely competitive, their work is top notch and they followed up after the job was done to check in.
These guys are dedicated and stand by their work. I will be using them exclusively going forward for all of our business wiring needs.

Yeah, these dudes know what they’re doing and put a TON of attention to detail into everything they do. From the returned calls/​texts, to showing up and doing the job in a timely manner. I work from home and needed to move my office into another space in the house. Jason and his team removed and demo’d an old desk space that was in the way, made a smart panel in my new office that hides the modem/​wireless router, the network panel and antenna switch along with other misc. cords. Super clean and out of sight. He also wired up our master bedroom and living room so we’re directly connected and no longer have to go wireless with any of our devices. All super clean and out of the way. I had to leave a little early before they finished and they even moved my desk back in for me, cleaned up super well and all for a very fair price. I’d strongly recommend him and his team for anything you need. I’ll be getting ahold of them for lighting fixtures and repositioning a few outlets in the house very soon. Thanks again, Jason!

Jason and his team are Professional all the way. I contacted them after a few let downs from some others in their field. Jason returned my initial call promptly and was very thorough in answering all of my questions. He came over at a time that was convenient to me and went through the house and listened to all of my concerns intently. Structured wiring then emailed me a detailed quote that was extremely competitive. The first room has been completed and I am very happy with the work his team did. We have a few more rooms to go and Structured wiring will be getting all of my business. I would highly recommend contacting Structured Wiring for any Audio Visual and Electric needs.

Super happy with Structured Wiring. Jason (and Alan) were awesome to work with! I called them up for an install of 8 recessed led lights in two bedrooms. I also had them throw a celling fan box in each room. They were ready for the job in just a few days, showed up on time and started prepping. Prepping? Yep. These guys might have spent more time taking care of my house than ANY other contractor I have worked with. They laid plastic, pads, tape, you name it. All so they could install some lights.
There were several of them, I think 5 total? Again, some contractors bring an extra guy, or maaaayyyybbbee a third. Not these guys, there was a group. They unloaded so much gear in my garage I could have set up shop. My point is, they were SUPER prepared. There would be no last minute home depot runs like there is with rookies. One note, these guys patch holes. I have only met one other electrician that does that. Its a nice touch. You will have to sand, texture and paint once they leave and the patch dries– but the reason they don’t do that is it would take them another day. Its also an art. Hire an expert. Get it done right!
The lights went in and I wasn’t super jazzed with the dimmability. They were nice looking and Jason installed trick Lutron Maestro dimmers (very expensive) which was a nice touch. But I wanted them to get super dim. We worked to find a solution over the next week and Jason came back out to get it right. NOT his fault, I didn’t specify how dim I wanted them. What I ended up doing was having him install remodel cans (just the piece where you can put any bulb in) so I could choose my LED retrofit can light. I can now choose from a wide variety of super sleek retrofit housings, wifi bulbs, whatever I want. Nice.
So, now we have our lights, they look great. Jason and his team are very personable. They chatted the whole time while working and were super professional in their conversation. Sometimes contractors can start slipping and talking nonsense. Good if you have kids or sensitive ears in the house. I would absolutely recommend Structured Wiring by Rader!

Called Structured Wiring to ask for help with a fridge that was delivering a huge electric shock every time we touched it and another metal object. They realized it was a huge health risk and remarked that we needed to get it fixed ASAP, but that they didn’t have any availability for the next week. They then consulted amongst themselves and called me back with a recommendation on another company to call. I will definitely call Structured Wiring again the next time we have an electric issue. I really appreciated their honesty, integrity, and genuine desire to help.

These guys were great! Jason and his crew were very professional and had exceptional pricing. We received numerous bids at our business facility to mount a few TVs throughout our call center, as well as install a media center in a conference room. Due to our company regulations, they had to work during business hours in the midst of us performing business as usual. The guys from Structured were respectful and as quite as they could be while mounting TVs and running cable. All the work was clean and professional, definitely exceeding our expectations.
We had Structured bid against contractors we’ve used in the past and they definitely came out on top. I would recommend these guys.

He recently helped me with a new residential home, and for my new office thats about 4k square feet. Always awesome work, I wouldnt ever use anyone else at this poing and always refer him out whenever someone needs electrical work done. Jason is the best!

Jason and his guys are very professional. They helped me mount my tv and did some rewiring. They are very good at what they’re doing also cleaned up afterwards. Highly recommend!

I was having sounds issues with projector at work. I called Jason very last minute the night before a presentation and he came through. They were so helpful and first they helped me tried fixing over the phone; since that didn’t work, Jason showed up an hr later to fix it. I highly recommend their business.

Jason did an excellent job. He reviewed the area, determined the best way to handle the install and then proceeded to perform the work. Jason was very detailed oriented and was diligent in all of his activities. He completed everything we had requested and then did an excellent job of cleaning up.
