Bop’s offers a wide variety of frozen treats including old fashioned ice cream (custard), sundaes, concretes, shakes, malts, smoothies, frappes, and shaved ice. We also serve the best hot chocolate. We offer low fat yogurt and sugar free vanilla custard too.

History

Established in 2008.

Bop’s offers high-​quality frozen custard and an excellent variety of premium frozen custard delights, including cones, shakes, and sundaes, in a clean, family-​oriented environment and offers exceptional service to customers.

Bop’s Frozen Custard opened its first store in Jackson, Mississippi in November 2000. The company continues to operate that original store and began granting franchises, and all Bop’s franchise shops are independently owned and operated by local individuals who have committed themselves to the high standards of Bop’s.

This is VERY different. The caramel was like watered down and just wasn’t good. The «custard» it’s self I didn’t understand and when I asked the girl that took my order what the difference was she said,“I don’t know really!“
I mean you work here and you don’t know what sets your store apart from others.
I did get a macadamia cookie and that was great.

Amazing creamy custard to satisfy any ice cream loving individual. So good and delicious that I could believe they have dairy cows in the kitchen being milked while you wait for your custard.
The establishment is very nice and cozy and has the old fashioned ice cream shop feel. There is even a table set up with a checkers top for playing a round of checkers.
The only thing I would say they are missing would be actually pictures of their creations. The menu is rather confusing and not easy to understand when ordering. And of course the establishment isn’t set up like a Baskin and Robbins in which you can see the actual tubs of custard in the refrigerator. So if there were images of each creation I think it would make ordering so much easier. There are no sample cones on display to understand what type of cone is available as well.
Other than that this establishment gets a full 5 stars because the custard is very very good. I will return to satisfy the creamy ice cream/​custard side of my cravings.

We were on vacation in Biloxi when we drove by this restaurant. There is a big sign above the door that says Old Fashioned Ice Cream. My family and I were so excited to go after we saw a movie. When we walked in we were totally disappointed to learn that they do not have ice cream at all… just soft serve custard. We walked out and drove to Target to buy some real ice cream and cones. I understand that it is a custard shop but custard does not equal old fashioned ice cream.

Ordered cup of vanilla custard with peaches. I thought the peaches would be mixed into the frozen custard like they do at other ice cream shops. Peach pieces were added as a topping.

I frequent this Bop’s location and always get quick service from the friendly staff. The custard is creamy and delicious! My favorite menu item is the Cookie Sundae. It’s vanilla custard with 2 warm chocolate chip cookies topped with hot fudge… YUM! My husband loves the Peanut Butter Mountain. Also, if you haven’t tried their hot chocolate during the colder months, then you are missing out. It is to die for!
I make a point to go to Bop’s every time I drive over to D’Iberville. Two thumbs up!

I have been here several times, on this visit I had the concrete which is similar to a blizzard from Dairy Queen.
It had frozen vanilla custard with mixed in Heath bar concrete. It was delish!
The small compliant I have is that Bops is located next to a movie theatre so teenage kids or younger use this as a hangout. There is very limited seating and the dining room fills up quickly. But they do have a drive thru which stays busy.
The menu can be confusing but the staff is quick to show you what is available.
We will be back since Biloxi doesn’t offer too many choices when it comes to ice cream/​custard parlors.

On my first visit, had my son with me, never saw so many items on a menu before, let him get what he already knew he wanted, came back later to actually go over the menu and pick something I wanted… decided on a couple menu items, a coffee ice cream concoction with a gourmet flavor (hazelnut), assumed it to be like a Java Chiller offered in other places, but the twinkie behind the counter suddenly had a look of a deer caught in headlights… she tried to act casual, stated she was consulting a manager, disappeared into the back, returned a minute or so later informing me they don’t have coffee custard or hazelnut flavoring… when I pointed out both items on the menu, she merely shrugged and asked what else I wanted. I’m with Randy T. on this place… until they get people in there who know how to organize the business and educate the staff, stay away… you can get better service and still satisfy your sweet tooth at Sonic or DQ or your local coffee shop.

Visited Bop’s and would have to agree with the comments made about the high school kids with few skills. They seem to forget that customers are in the shop, what customer service is, and what they’re there for. The ice cream was OK, nothing special. Price seemed high for what I got. No, won’t bother going back.

Visited Bop’s this evening and am disappointed that local companies continue to hire high school kids with no organizational skills who think work should be playtime. After placing my order I sat down for quite some time while several cars went through the drive thru and several customers who came in after me got their orders. After I realized something was amiss went to the counter to check on my order which was totally forgotten. Bop’s needs to put an ordering system in place that assures these kinda mistakes dont happen in the future.
Note: no business should have a drive thru if you cant take care of your walk ins.
