History
Established in 2010.
The BrickKicker of Middle Tennessee was originally a Florida based Mold Inspection company named AQ-Tech Environmental Services, Inc. that was founded in 2010. Not long ago we decided to move the company north to Dickson in order to be closer to family. While we were making the move it became apparent that it was time to evolve into also performing home Inspections. About that same time we were introduced to The BrickKicker located in Naperville, IL.
Founded in 1989 The BrickKicker is one of the leaders in the Home Inspection industry. They are a wealth of knowledge and support. Teaming with them has made the transition to home inspections seamless and efficient.
Although The BrickKicker of Middle Tennessee was founded in 2014 it originally started in 2010.
Meet the Business Owner
Scott M.
Business Owner
Scott is a native of Nashville but moved away in 1985 when he went active duty in the US Army. After five years in the military he resigned and moved to Miami, FL.
In 2009 he became interested in the issues so many people were having with mold related problems in the extremely humid climate that South Florida has the majority of the year. As a result of his research he and his fiancé, Becky W, decided to launch a mold inspection business dedicated to helping people understand whether they had a mold problem and what was the root cause of the issue.
Performing a mold inspection is similar to a home inspection in certain ways. It’s more thorough in some areas, and not in others. We never inspected the electrical system as part of a mold inspection, but we sure scoured a bunch of crawlspaces and walked a ton of roofs looking for likely sources of moisture intrusion.
Now he is a full time home inspector serving Middle Tennessee.
