The best alternative to Starbucks: good coffee, great chai, free wi-​fi. Expect to pay about $ 0.50 more than the Bux. And hope for the nice gentleman behind the counter: he’s got a nickname for everyone and is generous with his pours (often giving you the next larger size than what you paid for). Not so for the woman who is occasionally steeping and stirring a bit stingily.
