I called to have some electrical work done and spoke with the answering service (one would guess the contractor’s wife or daughter). She took the information and contacted the contractor and got back to me with in minutes. He had the problem solved and fixed that afternoon.
I had called several contractors that morning and all of them had the same «answering service» and B&G was the only one that was seriously professional.
One woman told me she would get back to me so I waited about 2 hours. Then I called B&G and got an answer and appointment very quickly — so I called the original contractor back and she told me that her husband was going to come by after he finished the job he was working on. That’s fine and all but it did me no good not to have this information and I had to tell her I hired someone else. She just didn’t follow through and they lost the job.
But B&G came by and stayed a few hours repairing and replacing some rather daunting looking old cloth wires and charged me a very fair price. He was professional, knowledgeable, clean, friendly and clearly explained what he had to do before he did it.
