They suck!!! The owners blames the customer for everything. You’re not running your filter right, someone messed with the filter timer… but aren’t you supposed to handle all the maintenance so why are we to blame. fired them 2 months ago because we have had enough condescending comments from the owner. His wife is lovely but he is major jerk… no customer service at all but if it’s about money he comes knocking at your door so quick. My filter broke and he blamed it on us but 2 days before his employee came to clean it… but we broke it!!!

Do not use them for pool maintenance. They are expensive and don’t show up weekly. When I called to complain about them not showing I was told that sometimes the workers forget to sign the service card. Well not only did they not sign the service card but they did no work because they were not here. They were showing up every other week. When I told them I would not pay them for services not rendered they sent my account to collection. The owner treated me like I was some stupid woman that he could take advantage of. Find a reliable pool maintenance company. This one is not it.

Don’t use Ferrell for Pool and Spa Service. Ferrell may be great at building pools, however, not at maintaining them. There is no excuse for dishonestly. In June 2012 we bought our home and hired them to care for our pool and spa. Our house warming party was July 4^th, 2012. Four days before we contacted him because our pool was going green and explained we had the house warming on the 4^th. He sent someone out to look at it but it kept getting worse. He said give it a couple days, which we did. On the 3^rd we were in a frantic panic. He sent his guy out again who appeared to be rinsing empty bottles with our pool water. On the morning of the 4^th we were beside ourselves with pea soap pool and guest on their way. Bill or Will, whatever his name, had the audacity to first blame it on the weather, then said it was our faults because we were «ignorant pool owners» who didn’t know we had to clean the sides of our pool and filters (mind you, it was 1 month since he cleaned our filters) and then proceeded to say that he had surgery and it cost him a lot of money or something. When we fired him the next day after getting someone else out that showed us there was zero chlorine in our pool causing this, Ferrell Pools owner told us that he ran out of chemicals and had them on order then he would fix it. Additionally, he charged us for the visits when he didn’t use chemicals after we fired him. He caused the pea soap and ruined our house warming party that we can never get back again. Furthermore, our pool was beautiful blue like never before within 24 hours of the new service arriving our house and actually adding chlorine. It has been a 1 ½ years and no green since! I have to say at least when I mistakenly paid him recently instead of our pool company and he cashed the check knowing he doesn’t do our service, he at least returned our money upon disputing with him. We didn’t expect that much out of such a dishonest person.

I have been using Ferrel Pools & Spas for weekly service, as well as needed repairs for about two years. I find them to be very fair, reasonable, and efficient, and would recommend them to other pool owners.

These people are super nice on the phone and I was looking forward to working with them. But… it was brought to my attention that their contractor license has been expired since 09/​30/​2011.

I have had Ferrel Pool service for 6 – 8 months. They are friendly and have advised me on things that the pool company who built my pool did not even mention. Will, has shown up for more then one service with his tech. and has been someone is enjoyable to talk with. I have a hard time in general finding a service with knowledge and professionalism in the pool business, and they have provided both. They may cost a little more for service vs. other companies but have proved worth the investment.
