At Ascendance we offer classes based on a technique curriculum that differentiate us from any other studio in the Miami/​Doral area and which will allow students to continuously see progress in their technical abilities.

History

Established in 2013.

Under the direction of Valentina R. Bagala (teacher, choreographer and competition judge) Ascendance Studio offers dance education through quality and experienced instructors. We firmly believe in the importance of the educational process and are committed to hiring the most knowledgeable and mature instructors.

Our studio’s focus is on recreational classes that can build a strong technical foundation for students who wish to pursue the art of dance in any form or shape.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

She started dancing at «Valero Dance Academy» in Santiago de Chile, Chile and has trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary and Ballroom, in South America, Europe and the United States. While in Chile, Valentina performed for the renowned TV morning show «Buenos Dias a Todos» and for the family program «Venga Conmigo». At the age of 14 she moved to Miami, Florida where she continued her training and competed in many regional and national talent competitions. Later on, she began teaching students of various ages and levels, including company students. Her choreography has won important awards in the competitive dance world, including Best Choreography, Technical Excellence, 1^st Overall of the category and Most Entertaining. Currently, Valentina travels from coast to coast as a judge for Kids Artistic Revue (KAR), Rainbow, Dance Masters of America (DMA)and she is committed to making of Ascendance Studio one of the best places for dance education in the Miami /​Doral area.
