They habe good service but they have terrible comunication skills. Their vela shape machine broke and it remained out of service for more than 3 weeks… i was caught in the middle of my treatment and you lose all the progress you have made thanks to that 3 week gap of not going. The problem is that the recepcionist decides to tell me that I am wrong and doesn’t even consult a manager to make this right. My husband is a lawyer and tells me this is wrong and encourages me to do something about it… I didn’t want to but after being treated like a was treated by the recepcionist. i think I just might… its important to stand up and fight for our rights and get what we pay for. Its a shame, if I had been treated with understanding words and compassion I wouldn’t be here.

I’ve had a long term relationship with this place. It hasn’t all been smooth (no pun intended) but my services have never failed. I would recommend to anyone and just advice to make your appointments and stick to them. You’ll be satisfied.

This place is a dive and they are thieves and scam artist!!! I have never been refunded for them BURNING ME WITH A MACHINE THAT THEY ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO USE!!! According to the makers of ZELTIQ COOL SCULPTING they are scamming the public! STAY AWAY!!!

I’m just here to review their Botox and Juvederm treatments. I had a great experience with Melinda (RN). She’s very friendly, knowledgeable, and I loved my results! You’ll be in good hands with her.

Loved this place, clean and very organized. I got hair laser removal and it was excellent! Pain free! Sophie was so professional and efficient in explaining everything. I would definitely recommend this place.

Just like the many other reviews, mine is going to recommend not wasting your time. They are unorganized, the office is cluttered, the work is below average, the employees are undereducated in this field. I had wanted to set up regular sessions for different treatments but after going in once I would not waste my money there. There are many different spas that offer the same services in doral for better prices with better service. This place probably doesn’t have many return clients. It seems like they get all their business from groupon and they treat people as if they’ll never be back anyway. It’s just an overpriced, uncomfortable, unhelpful, and unfriendly place to have to go. None of what you’d like to experience at a spa.

I did my laser hair removal here and have had amazing results. Staff is very nice, helpful and accommodating. Have recommended them to friends and they too have had wonderful results.

I came here on a living social 18-​month laser hair removal voucher. To respond to some of the other negative reviews I have read… I have not had any issues with scheduling and every time I have had to reschedule I have not had any problems and the staff seems to be pretty accommodating. I actually appreciate the reminder texts. I do schedule all my appointments on weekday mornings and I have only had to wait 10 minutes once (I have been 6 times so far). No, it is not a true SPA feel. so the name is kind of misleading. Yes, this is more of like a med/​aesthetics/​skincare service center. I get more of a medical office feel than a relaxation harmony feel but I’m not getting a full body massage so it doesn’t bother me. I don’t remember hearing any spa like background music and yes the treatment rooms are not sound proofed. Yes the décor is a little off, there is a lot of literature written all over the place with lots of brochures. Which can be overwhelming for some. If you take the time to read it some of it is quite informative. As for my laser removal sessions the pain intensity is far better than other locations I have tried and my hair reduction so far is to about 70% less now. I have had 3 different technicians work on me and I highly recommend Sophie the most as she has made my experience the most comfortable. They also have this amazing machine called a hyperbaric oxygen chamber which is used to treat serious medical conditions with great success. When I asked about it the staff was very informative and helpful. I am very interested in this for a sick family member to have them get this treatment. So I went in for one type of treatment and found another fabulous type. Overall I would recommend this place for laser treatment especially with a living social/​groupon deal price. I will write up a follow up review on the hyperbaric oxygen treatments.

Mixed feelings about customer service. Some of the girls are real nice but others just seem to be very rushed.
Too cold and music too loud. But I realize they need to put loud music on since some of the service rooms are not really individual rooms but partitions. I could hear all the conversation that was going on in the next room which was pretty much a «private» conversation. Doesn’t really have a Spa feeling.
Appointments are promptly seen as scheduled.
As far as the treatments, I received 6 iLipo treatments with the PowerPlate service. It was not effective and I did get slight burn marks.

I was hopeful when I first booked this appointment for a manicure/​pedicure. I decided to try something new because there was a Couptessa special. Though I had to book for a week in advance, I figured, «Well, if they’re TOO Busy, this is always a good thing.» Boy, was I wrong.
They asked for my cell phone number to be able to text me a reminder, and I assumed that meant one. Nope. FOUR, along with links needing to confirm again and again. I was already annoyed with this place, and I hadn’t even walked through the door yet.
To say I’ve never had such a bad experience at a «spa» in my life is an understatement. My appointment was at 11, so I decided to arrive at 10:45. The place was dead and felt more like a creepy doctor’s office than a mani/​pedi salon. The «manicurists» are so booked with their facials and other types of skin treatments that they didn’t actually start until we’d been there for 45 minutes.
There are paintings of naked women and statues of naked men throughout, which really makes no sense for the kind of ambiance they’re going for. But that’s not even the best part. They have like 10 color options – all expired Essie polishes– and 1 pedicure chair and 1 manicure chair off to a corner near the front door. Awkward.
My manicure barely lasted 3 hours. The «manicurist» layered so much so quickly that all of my nails either bubbled or peeled off entirely. AFTER ONE DAY. Definitely will not be going back here again, and highly recommend avoiding it at all costs. You’re better off going to a kiosk at a mall… and that says a lot.

I’m a regular at Vda Spa and I can’t say enough great things abouth this spa and their staff. I do the I-​Lipo treatment which gave me amazing results, but Claudia and Angela who have both taken care of me are amazingly sweet and very professional. I also did a few things with Dr. De la Cuesta who has done my Botox and Juviderm a couple of times and left me looking amazing, so good that I have sent several of my friends and clients their way and everyone has gotten amazing results.
The Dr. Is very honest about the amounts you need, never trying to oversell you if you don’t need it. Less is more, super professional and friendly. Not a snobby spa at all.

Okay, so I just got back about an hour ago from my appointment at Vida, and I’m seeing other reviews which aren’t so great. My experience, however, was great with Melinda who was my RN for the platelet-​rich plasma facial (aka vampire facelift). She was so kind and professional and advised me of how the treatment was first developed and what to expect before, during and after the session. The whole treatment lasted 2 hours. I purchased a groupon deal which saved a lot of money. The treatment is normally twice as expensive and about 3 times as much at a doctor’s office.
I will say the front office staff didn’t check me off their list when I walked in to give me the first-​time patient forms and actually called me to confirm I was coming in while I was sitting in their waiting room– I’d been there for 15 minutes. Other than that, my encounter with a couple of the technicians and Melinda was great!
I’ll be going back again to get a second treatment in a couple of months.

Horrible service!!! I purchased a Groupon to be used the same day before 3PM and I figured since it was to be used the same day and it was early in the morning I wouldn’t have to make an appointment. Wrong! When I got there the front desk lady told me I had to make an appointment and that I couldn’t use the Groupon for that day, so wtf was the point on putting it on Groupon for that day if I couldn’t use it on that day, I just walked out! It wasn’t just the fact that I had to make an appt for another day, but the way I was treated, as if because I got a Groupon I was unworthy of good service. Never going there again!

The staff could not be more unhelpful. The last time I was in I sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes while everyone who came in went ahead of me. The woman who I was scheduled with wasn’t feeling well. Instead of communicating this to me, I just sat there and watched everyone go in front of me. When I went up to ask (multiple times) what was going on, they said they couldn’t give me an answer and wouldn’t let me see anyone else. When I finally said I needed to leave, the receptionist was basically like that’s your problem. I am now trying to get my money back from Groupon, but I would rather lose my money then go back.

Their «actual» spa manicure & pedicure is not very spa like. I was looking forward to a relaxing spa time after a long week. and I got a so so manicure/​pedicure. pedicure which had me sitting on a office chair. Not very «Spa» like or relaxing. Website way over hypes the service.

If you look at the actual website you see the place as being pricey. At the groupon reviews which is how I even heard of the spa I would saw HELLO! If they sell 1,000 groupons you can’t get in the same week. Common sense.
They always have deals going on at all the coupons places, so shop around. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with the up most courtesy. I was drinking coffee and was commenting on what it taste like and was immediately offered sugar, tea etc. I was also given some Excedrin because I had a huge headache and some essential oil to relax me, before I was even treated to my Facial, Mani-​pedi. So with that said, They won me. They cared about me and treated me with respect. The reason I am giving 4 instead of five stars is because the facial seemed to miss some elements at the end. (Mist, lotion,) and the lady was trying to upgrade me and sell me during my facial. Didn’t find that cool. Other than that i would be back again. Words of wisdom, check the availability on line before you buy… They book like hot cakes, that way you have the right expectations.

Let me start by saying I never had the chance to get any services done by them. I purchased two groupons for the xerona laser treatment and when I called to set up an appointment it literally took half a day to get through. They are very unorganized and actually had to cancel all of my set appointments because the machine was under repair, or that they were running late, etc.
When they called me once to set back my appointment to ALMOST TWO HOURS (?!) I told them I already had plans for the time that they wanted me to do the appointment. The guy was like, «Well obviously if you gotta cancel you gotta cancel but I suggest you take this slot cuz it’s going to be extra hard to get another appointment.»
WHAT!!!
Since they switched my appointments around all the time I kinda got confused as to when I was actually supposed to show up so I called to ask for confirmation. The girl I spoke to at the time was like, «What time is your appointment?» And I’d say, «That’s why I called. To confirm what time the appointment is» And she’d be like, «Okay, so what time is your appointment?»
I put up with them for like a month of booking, canceling, scheduling, etc before I called up Groupon and got a refund fot both groupons I got. Not worth putting up with them.
If you can’t accomodate the number of people getting a groupon shouldn’t you just limit the quantity that can be sold? And if you know that alot of people got the deal at least extend the promotion offer.
Judging from the other reviews, I wouldn’t even waste my time with this place. Hope my experience can help someone to NOT go through what I did. One star was generous.

I bought a groupon to this place for a spa mani-​pedi and chocolate facial. The girls seemed nice enough but there was a complete lack of organization and severely understaffed. They were unprofessional yelling back and forth about who got what client and then I ended up with a french manicure that i could have done a better job of myself at home. The only reason why I’m giving two stars is because the facial was actually pretty decent but the whole mani-​pedi process was lacking. Save your money and go to a better place.
