Ming’s Auto Service

If you have an old (or new) Honda, and /​or Hyundai and have it serviced any place in Metro Atlanta other than with Vincent, change now. It is that simple. We drive 45 minutes to ring cars here and do not care. Vincent is honest, cares (he has serviced our car for 16 years), and respectful. His Dad was before him, and set the example. Just don’t go between Christmas and New Years as like all of us, Vincent and his staff need a well deserved break!

This is the best auto shop you’ll ever go to. They are honest and will never employ scare tactic as most other auto shops will. Extremely reasonably priced, you will never be worried of being ripped off. Ming’s auto service is the only auto shop I will take my car to.

Had to get my car aligned cuz it was going all sorts of crazy. Thanks to Vincent at Ming’s Auto Service, my car was squared away in a jiffy. This place can get really busy so I suggest calling for an appt of some sorts. Waiting room was super casual without all the fancy stuff, leaving it super affordable for the service given for my car. Free wi-​fi as well — woo! Easily worked on school while waiting on my car. Will come back again for my future car needs.

I really wish I knew about Ming’s before I wasted tons of money and time at the dealership. They are fast, friendly, and won’t try to bs you about a nonexistent issue with your car in the hopes of getting extra money. The mechanic, William, kept me involved in every part of the process and that is rare. I will definitely patronize Ming’s in the future and refer others.

I am a regular customer there and they are the best. I came back last Saturday because the dealer said I needed a few things after I took my car for a recall.
Since I did not fully trust them, I took my car to Ming’s and what they charged me what almost 3 times less than the scammy dealer.

Second visit to Ming, and I’m still as satisfied as the very first day I went there. Car broke down on my way to work with the engine fuming. Couldn’t accelerate more than 30mph. Immediately towed it to Ming place and in a speedy, 3 – 3.5hrs, he detected, fixed and tested the car.
Plus when I before to inquire if I should try and drive my car to his place in that state, he advised me not to as I could have ruined the engine. Also helped me out with a number of a towing service which already knew his place. In all, the price was more than reasonable as always. Thanks again

I visited Ming’s after much research and I’m proud to be adding yet another positive review.
My husband wasn’t too keen on me using someone else because he thought they’d take advantage of me being female however I was treated with dignity and everything was explained well without me feeling talked down to.
My husband has someone that he prefers to work on our cars and provided great prices, he couldn’t understand why I’ve never felt comfortable asking questions or taking my car to his mechanic without him being present. I’ve always explained that even when I would ask a question, the mechanic would only direct his answers to my husband which felt degrading.
Now that he saw the interaction at Ming’s, he gets it! He agreed their prices are reasonable, their work is quality and mainly appreciates that I’m comfortable with them.

I have been coming here for over a year now and own a 05 Hyundai Tiburon. These guys do quality work and very honest also. Prices are very reasonable. I’ve had a few different jobs done from suspension, brakes, timing belts, alignments. I usually buy my own parts and have them install them. I did bring in a poor quality part recently, they notified me and ordered OEM quality for me. You cant go wrong with taking your car here. The head guy Vincent is great to work with. I Don’t waste my time or money with the dealership or chain auto repair spots anymore! Try them out and you wont be disappointed.

Around Christmas 2014 my starter went up in my 2011 Hyundai Sonata. The dealership said it would be $ 750 the same dealership that said it was nothing wrong before and I paid $ 150 for a diagnostics. I took my car to Ming’s and they put a brand new starter on my car and did an oil change for $ 400! They were fast and professional. Very happy with my service and my car is just fine now! :) Thank you!

Stopped by Ming’s after reading the great reviews and was not disappointed.
The technician checked out a bunch stuff I had going on, came back with suggestions and priorities, all of which were reasonably priced.
Previously, I called requesting an estimate on something I thought I needed but didn’t end up needing. Ming’s gave me a quote that was significantly lower than the other 3 places I called. I’m talking a good $ 300-​$ 500 difference.
Double plus bonus: no one spoke to me like I’m an idiot — everyone was really nice.

Ming’s is the only place I’d take my car in the Atlanta area. I moved here about three years ago, and it’s difficult to get settled and figure out which businesses to support. I am really fortunate to have found Ming’s on Unilocal.It was a relief when I talked to other people waiting for my car during my first visit, and they said they would recommend this place to anyone they knew.
They are very honest here — if I about certain things that I don’t need, they say so. They are so knowledgeable, and they can pinpoint a problem, so that you don’t have to pay for unnecessary parts and labor. As a female, this business is a true godsend!

I have actually been to Ming’s a few times already for needed repairs since my move to Atlanta. The auto shop came as a recommendation by my supervisor.
I brought my VW Jetta in this morning for tire replacements and alignment. As usual, their service was quick and efficient with fair pricing.
Now that I no longer live close to brother who helps me with car repairs, I am relieved to have found an honest auto repair shop. Highly-​Recommended!

I went to Ming’s because of their great Unilocal reviews. They’re always courteous and up front. My first visit, I asked if they could just put a speed sensor that I already bought into my car, they had no problems with it and I got an oil change and a balance and rotate all at the same time for an extremely good price. As I was checking out he mentioned that I needed a new clutch, which was noticeably slipping, and again, I brought it in and they got it taken care of in amazing time and for about Half the price dealerships were asking for. I’ll be using them for all my future needs and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work at a fair price.

Great auto care service! Very professional and honest, and very fast service too.
I’ve called several auto shops in Atlanta for an oxygen sensor repair — these guys were able to take the car same day, did it within a couple of hours, and charged almost half of what some of the other shops were quoting! They were really nice also.
I would definitely recommend this place for all your auto service needs!

I have been going to this location since 1999 for oil changes. They are fast and friendly. They top off all your fluids as well as check the tire pressures. The BEST part is there isn’t a timely 2 hour wait like at most places. In and out in about 10 – 15 minutes. Gotta love that.

I can’t stress enough how grateful I am for the gentlemen at this shop. Mings auto is the best. My power steering pump blew (2000 Acura TL) and I needed my car fixed asap. I also know Ming stays very busy and I was willing to wait bc I won’t let anyone else work on my car. I dropped it off the next am before Ming opened, gave them a call and was assured my car would be ready that day. Surprised but thinking it would be late that afternoon I thanked him and said OK. Well about 2 hours later, I was called and given a complete run down of my car, what to do next (Maintenance wise) and my car was completed at 1230pm! I absolutely love those guys! I thank you Ming!

My check engine light is on and my car has trouble accerlating. Brought my car to the shop. Spent 600 on repairs they said i needed. Car still has trouble accelerating. They said they needed to hire a guy to see what’s wrong with the car and it would cost extra. I finally agreed to it and a week later they tell me they don’t know. I would only recomend here if you have minor problems that you have prior knowledge of. Not for check engine light.

Honest, competent, and professional. I can’t say enough about these guys.
One day, on my way to work my muffler started dragging off the back of my corolla. It was pretty dramatic with sparks flying everywhere.
They could have charged me $ 500. I was in a bad situation: late for work with a huge muffler dangling precariously from the bumper of my car.
Instead, these guys were HONEST and told me that all I needed was a bolt. They fixed my issue and sent me on my way.

On future visits to Ming’s I appreciated that they gave useful advice instead of just selling me something that made no sense. For example, when I had to get my catalytic converter replaced they went through the pros and cons of certain options so I didn’t have to drop $ 1500 on the Toyota part for a car worth $ 2200.
Also, if you need an oil change during your lunch break they are super fast.

5 stars because of quick, efficient service and fair pricing. My friend recommended this place for an oil change an tire rotation, so I stopped by today. I was greeted immediately and asked to take a seat. 30 short minutes and $ 43 later I was out of there.
Quick tip: if you bring your own motor oil and filter, you can get the oil change for about $ 20.
