best liquor store I’ve been to in Atlanta, thus far. If there are better I don’t know of any. Low prices. Top shelf brands. Polite and VERY knowledgeable employees. They even have a wine connoisseur on deck! If not, this guy just really knows his stuff about wine, down to the intricate details. I have no complaints about this place. They do a marvelous job

Towers is legit one of the best liquor stores I’ve ever been to. they always have the new liquors before everyone else and the store is so big you can get lost in it. I always get trapped in the wine section. I’m not a wine-​o but if the shoe is a size 8.5, I just may have to wear it.
The attendants are always so helpful. They’re all over the place, too. Not like Wally World when you know there’s a million and one employees but you can’t find anyone to help you. Sheesh! They even have an attendant station in the middle of the store. How cool is that?
The wine section is out of this world. They have everything I like and some things I look forward to trying one day. Besides the selection being great, the prices are better than everywhere else, as well. They aren’t significantly lower but cheaper nonetheless. If you use debit or cash, the total comes to a little less, too!
Try them out. I doubt this store won’t have whatever you’re little alcoholic heart desires.

I had an issue that called a company policy into question at the Buford store recently, but it was followed up with a nice phone call from a manager who said that my concern had been addressed. I was not asked to remove my negative review, but am doing so because of the customer service I received. I’ve been shopping here for many years and will continue to do so.

This is like the super grocery store of alcohol. There’s plenty of parking, great selection of alcohol from well known to harder to find brands, hurricane mixes, beer ice cream, cigars you name it. If you pay with cash you get a small discount. They also have a wine tasting room, members club, party planning etc. The floor associates are very helpful and friendly. Sometimes I have found the cashiers or associates behind the counter to be snippy or have a ‘tude for no apparent reason.

Tower is probably my go to liquor store. It has the best selection of booze that’s also fairly close to my house.
Whenever I go in, there’s always someone asking if I need help finding anything. Also, within the past year or so, they’ve really upped their game regarding craft beer. Every time I go in, I seem to find some sort of new beer that I have yet to try.
PS: If you pay with cash, you get a slight discount on your booze.

Impressive selection of spirits.
If you are looking for small batch bourbon or japanese whisky, you will find it here. The staff is very helpful. Call ahead and have them check inventory for you if you are finding a specific bottle.
The store is well lit, and huge. Makes navigating around easy and stress free. I hate those stores where they stack the bottles sky high and have super narrow lanes. If you sneeze, you might just blow down a tower of booze.
As far as bourbon and japanese whisky goes, this place has them in stock, most of the time. They do go fast. Also, pay with cash or debit card for their discounted price.

Amazing selection of just about everything. Their beer section is very extensive (I was looking for «Baltika» Beer — and they had it — wow!). The staff is simply great as well. I had several questions about products and the person I dealt with (wish I would have gotten his name) was friendly, professional, and took the time to help me out. He even offered to place a special order for me.
The only reason that I give Tower 4 stars instead of 5 is due to price. The prices here are a little more on some items than the some of the mom and pop bottle shops near me. Prices in the beer stacks can also be difficult to determine. That being said I will definitely be going back here, especially for the hard to find items.

I shop both stores. The Piedmont store is much better than this one. Both stores give a cash discount and are run pretty much the same. The reasons I rate this location lower are:
1. If you are looking for wine, the selection is MUCH more limited than at the Piedmont store. Evidently the locals out here don’t drink as much wine. They sell more beer here they say than the Piedmont store.
2. I wandered through the beer section last week and was actually looking for beer but there were no prices on SO MANY of the stacks of beer. Im not one who is tied to one label. Sure you can ask prices, but there was loads of stuff unpriced! I hate that! The help is always nice at both stores, but are you in the mood to ask 20 prices? Come on… I finally said forget this and went to the other store a few days later. I only saw a few unpriced beers there.
3. The electronic system that your in to get your discounts at the register, would you believe they aren’t connected??? What??? Same software, same store, 2 locations in the same city yet they don’t connect the software-it’s separate. Unbelieveable!

I didn’t even know this location existed until I was looking where to purchase Woodchuck chocolate cider.
This store isn’t as big as the Tower in Buckhead, but they still have a great selection and AMAZING customer service. The staff is über friendly and they know where everything is located and what products they have in stock.
Now that I have a Tower in my backyard, I will be coming here from now on.

Towers has helped me cut down on the cost of my bar hopping days as well as help lower my «drinking budget» since we all know it is much safer and cheaper to drink at home.
This is my go to liquor store, they have a vast array of pretty much everything you’ll need and at a very decent price too! My visits to other liquor stores haven’t always been as friendly, but here, the staff has always been helpful and are able to locate whatever drink you request in their maze of alcohol.
I like to go in and just browse through their wines and have found a few very inexpensive decent quality drinking wines which came in handy with the recent snow storm we had.
Like most liquor stores, there is a slight discount when you pay in cash versus credit which is nice.
When we do have a question, the staff is quick to give their expert opinion on a drink. I have never felt like I was pushed into a sale or dismissed quickly because of my lack of knowledge or tastes.

Everyone is so helpful and polite! I love it.
Always passed by this store but I visited for the first time to pick up party goodies for NYE. Everyone here from the security to employees were so polite. I knew what I wanted and they directed promptly. I didn’t have any difficulties; I wasn’t frustrated wandering around. When I realize I needed a basket, an employee brought a cart over for me.
At checkout, the cashier said they had Jack Daniel’s Holiday Special (with an extra shot and ice glass) still left which was for the same price as just a regular JD bottle. SHE DIDN’T HAVE TO DO THAT!!! But she did it anyways because THAT IS customer service… wanting the best for your customer. Like, THEY make me want to work here, but I digress. Finally, another guy helped me bring the boxes out to my car.
My experience here was beyond exceptional. 5 stars all-​the-​way!

There are two listings for this excellent liquor store on Buford Highway. I reviewed it back in 2010 under the heading, «Tower Beer Wine and Spirits.»
Tower is my favorite liquor store in Atlanta. Regardless of location, the staff is super-​friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
No matter what you are looking for, Tower is sure to have it, or will be happy to order it for you. They have a wide variety of excellent wines in the $ 10 and under range, and of course they offer pricier wines when you’re looking for a special bottle.
Tower also stocks a good selection of single malt scotch, whether you’re giving it as a gift to your favorite whisky connoisseur or enjoying it yourself.
If you plan your liquor shopping excursions ahead of time, be sure to get enough cash to cover your transaction. Tower offers discounts on cash purchases. Also, they are now open on Sunday!

I used to think this was the best place to buy alcohol, till I discovered Total Wine.
Stopped by to pick something up for the TKi boys celebrating at a shop nearby. I used to frequent this place quite a bit when I lived down the street. There’s a pretty good variety of things offered here and the place itself is decently organized, open and well-​lit. What’s unique about this place is that they offer two prices on everything — a discounted cash price, and a slightly more expensive credit card price. They’re very strict about checking minors + alcohol. They will ID you and everyone you are with, so make sure if you stop in, no one is underaged. Because, you know, underaged drinking is bad. And illegal. :p

Needed to come buy to stock up on some alcohol for a pre-​game party we were hosting for my BIL’s birthday, and this place was the only stop we had to make.
They have everything. I ended getting a few bottles that I never even heard of due to requests, and the staff knew EXACTLY where everything was, and everyone was super friendly, and greeted us as we approached the counter.
Only place I go to buy alcohol. It’s right up the road, too. :]

Tower Beer Wine & Spirits is the Walmart of booze. This is the only liquor store that I automatically get a cart on the way in, knowing all too well that i will need it. Great selection in all departments.
Employees are helpful both in the aisles and registers. Always a quick checkout.
There are two prices posted, cash or credit (Debit counts as cash!) If you have a Tower Card you can get additional discounts. What i love about this location is they always have a few carts with some deep discounts pushed to the front of the store. I have scored some incredible deals here! Overall, really good prices on everything.
Okay, I admit that giving five star reviews to liquor stores may be a sign for help.
