I really didn’t like this place. I guess I could say it was«okay» I walked through for about 20 minutes. Didn’t see anything I was interested in. Mostly everything was made really cheap looking. I guess everything is priced so low. It makes sense you’d get what you paid for. But honestly for me Id rather pay a little more at a better place for better quality clothing. You would pretty much wear whatever you buy here one time before it falls apart. And the styles of some of the clothing(not all but some) were a little much for me. I didn’t buy anything. And most likely never will.

Stopped by Rainbow today since I had an appointment in Mattapan, and I’ve been intrigued by it as I’ve driven by many times in the past. Their plus size selection is huge and offers an amazing variety. Even better than you’d find at Lane Bryant, or Torrid, or something… more stuff fit into a smaller space. The quality is questionable at best, but the pieces I got were trendy and cheap and that was good enough for me. The security is insane and makes you feel really awkward the whole time you shop. The staff is super rude. But there sure are a lot of plus size clothes that are pretty awesome. It’s so hard to find cute things in plus sizes… and forget about finding cute things in plus sizes at reasonable prices! So much of the clothing out there is made really crappily, but you pay $ 20 – 30 for a shirt or $ 40 – 50 for a pair of jeans anyway because you’re so desperate to find *something* cute as a plus sized woman… at least here the low price properly corresponds to the crap quality :) But for a similar experience, I greatly prefer Tello’s in Central Square. Except for the parking situation — finding parking in Central Square is hell, and here it’s a total breeze.

I didn’t give too high of a rating because the staff didn’t even greet us at all when we were there nor did they ask us for help. The clothes and other things are nice though.

The only other review on here is pretty accurate; the stuff is SUPER cheap materials. almost ‘one time use’ clothing. But you can and will find a few gems if you look hard enough.(Kinda like at TJ Maxx or Marshalls) I found a pair of Paris Hilton sailor pinstripe pants for 10 bucks! Those retail at like 80 more! I always stop in this place before a backyard party for a cute shirt that I will get drunk in and not care about tearing or puking on at the end of the night.
