Just as I remember it. Tenean Beach is where we’d come in the summer to feed the seagulls and shoot the shit when we had some time to kill. I don’t remember it being particularly crowded or popular, and probably wouldn’t recommend it for swimming. But for inner city beach views and a summer experience, it’s as good as any to bring a lunch and relax for a little while.

Not the nicest beach but this isn’t Duxbury so yeah. Love the view of the city, playing with the dog and that it’s never crowded.

Not sure if id ever swim here. No, i definetly wouldn’t. But its an appropriate place to sunbath! Awesome view of beantown, with a whitey bulger feel to it. The department of public works just laid down a new basketball and tennis court, and there is a sweet childrens playground and huge open free parking lot.

This beach is very small, but almost always empty — so if you are looking for better beach & not necessarily better water, then this might be your stop… There is also a little playground & parking area… Its close, small & a little more convenient then bigger Wollaston around the corner… If you dont know its here you would never find it, you can see if from the Northbound side of 93 right after you pass the Adams Inn in Quincy and the oncoming traffic from that exit… Several little tables & a nice place for a stop with the kids!

So it’s not the nicest beach in Boston, but it is very low key. No crowds, a lot less kids screaming, and tons of parking. There are always lots of dogs and masters playing in the sand in the sun. If you come here with your pooch, your likely to have a good time and your pup will be sleeping in the car on the ride home. Plus from this beach you have a kick ass view of downtown skyline. PS. If you stop by here at night beware it’s kinda of a local lovers lane, so you might catch an eyefull!
