Barrows House offers a large patio perfect for outdoor dining, an expansive bar, quiet dining areas, and a lively tavern. Midweek specials include Burger N’ Brew, Wine Down Wednesday, and Team Trivia Thursday! End your night with a cocktail by the roaring firepit!

History

Established in 1900.

Barrows House was built in 1804 as Dorset’s first manse for the Reverend William Jackson. Reverend Jackson was a a pillar in the community during his 46 years as Dorset’s pastor. The Barrows family opened the doors to the Jackson house as Inn for the first time in 1900. Steven and Lauren Bryant recently purchased Barrows House and have transformed the Inn into a quintessential New England Bed & Breakfast. Barrows House maintains the charm of an old Inn while providing guests with modern amenities. Our newly renovated Gastropub boasts an expansive bar, craft beers on draft, an outdoor patio for dining, and nightly specials!
