We specialize in professional dog grooming, paying close attention to our client’s needs. We view each dog as an individual, and understand that while all are created equally, certain needs must be met depending on the multiple types of skin, coats, allergies, and ear conditions.

We pride ourselves in offering a personable experience for both you and your dog. Thorough grooming, exceptional customer service, and open communication comprise the foundation of the business.

History

Established in 2011.

Classy Canine opened February of 2011, on Honeysuckle Road in Dothan, Alabama. The relocation to Forest Drive in November 2012, has proved to be an exceptionally positive change.

My passion for and love of dogs lead to the opening of the Salon. The addition of Kayla Taylor in January 2013, has grown the business in a remarkable way. She has been a professional groomer for more than six years. Her experience, combined with mine of more than ten years in both grooming and management, has made Classy Canine the success it is today.

Business Owner

I was born, raised, and currently reside in Dothan, Alabama. Pets, especially dogs, are something I have never lived without. Dogs have always held a special place in my heart, in my life, and in my family’s lives. I grew up with English bulldogs, and have owned everything from Collies to mixed breeds.

In 2008, I graduated from The Florida Academy of Pet Grooming in Pensacola, Florida. The decision to open my own business came about in the two years following. That decision finally came to fruition in February 2011. By summertime, business was booming, and I’ve never looked back.
