History

Established in 1979.

Guaranteed Builders and Developers, Inc. merged with Wallis Lumber in 1979 and was launched as a company with a future. Our philosophy was to keep the American dream alive of owning a home of your own, well within your financial ability. GBI is continuing even further today, building quality constructed modular homes in our own facility located at 14 West Street in Douglas, MA.

Business Owner

Louis is a firm believer that «housing is a necessity not a luxury». He has been in the modular construction business for over 49 years and is one of the founders of modular homes. Louis was one of the leaders in two story modular building and furthered the industry from single story ranch designs.

Louis loves giving back to the community and has been known to do so by giving out scholarships to Douglas students and donating to local school systems. This stems from his believe that «our future is always in the youth».
