Never had a problem with anyone at this location everyone is nice and knowledgeable about their games. From what I’m seeing the complaints at the bottom just look like nitpicking or should I say sh$tpicking

The poorly trained managers are what kill this location. Granted, they have an ever changing staff, but I’ve had several problems there. When I pre-ordered a game, it came with a poster set. Well, I’ve done pre-orders for 15+ years, and this was the first time that I was told, «no, you don’t get the posters now, I give them to you when you pick up the game so that way I know who got one and who didn’t.» Uhhh… what? If you hand the pre-order gifts out AT the time of pre-order, then you already know that everyone got one when they picked up the game. It also negates any problems with the idea of «while supplies last.» I tried to argue with that female manager, but I eventually gave up and left. Still, why does she think she has the posters NOW if she’s supposed to wait until the release date to hand them out? When I came in for pick-up, the other manager was shocked, and didn’t believe me that I didn’t receive my pre-order posters. Thankfully, he was from the mall location and didn’t fight with me after I gave him the name of that other manager, so I did get my posters. The only logic I can find here is that this other manager was having problems with people cancelling their pre-orders, or not showing up to pick up the game and using the $ 5 pre-order as a way to get the gifts cheaply. Still, no decent manager would do that, and it was NOT consistently done with all the people who pre-ordered. Another time my son went in and asked for the FREE Pokemon code cards. The manager then told him that if he wants the no-purchase-required freebie, he had to pre-order the newest Pokemon game. I called corporate on that one, and I have not seen that employee since! You aren’t supposed to add stipulations to promotional items that Nintendo/Pokemon are releasing for the general public! This last complaint goes to every GameStop in the country — I wish they would stop shoving all these up-sales down my throat. I order in advance if there’s a bonus item I want, but otherwise I have never in my 30 years as a gamer seen a shortage where I couldn’t easily get my hands on a title after it hit shelves. What’s more, I have no idea if the game will suck or be a glitchy nightmare when it comes out, and then who knows how long it will take the developer to fix the problem — I’m still having issues with Watchdogs. And, they don’t want you to figure this out, but every game title drops in value after a few months — so that $ 60 game might be $ 20 by the time you beat it. If you have the slightest bit of patience, you can buy 3 games for the price of 1 within a year of the titles releasing. GameStop often overcharges for games, and a pre-order is just a way to lock you into purchasing the item from them instead of being able to shop around for the best price after the release date. And now they even push and push for you to get their credit card and to turn your store card into a paid Pro Account. Not to mention all the pushing to buy your games used to save you a measly $ 1 – 5 off the new price(not worth the chance of having to spend $ 5 in gas driving back to your store if the game doesn’t work right, thanks!). GameStop is becoming so overbearing I can’t imagine customers putting up with them much longer.

I like Gamstop but I do not understand why they always try to push you on their«Used» games. Why have a BOGO or Buy One Get One Half Off sale and only include Previously Used games. This just make me go to Amazon and buy my games online. This location has a variety of games. They usually have a better selection here than what the mall(Arbor Place) right down the street has. Staff seems to be knowledgeable about their products. I purchased the membership plan(Comes with a magazine every month) that I got for for no damn reason because I refuse to buy all Used games and why would I pay $ 40 for a game that I can get on Amazon for $ 15. I guess you live and learn. 4 Stars for the store and it’s selections. 1 Star for not having more sales on the NEW Games!
