Today will be the last time I visit this location. Shoppers beware, you will not get good service. Over the last few months I’ve been ordering party supplies at various party stores. Having been at this store before I decided to use this store again. To explain a bit further, I was recently appointed to two social committees. I’ve been task with ordering supplies now. Fast forward to last Friday, I went into this store and bought most of the supplies I could find. Due to my unique order, I actually had to go to three different stores to get everything(kept buying up all the inventory). The order was for a large Super Bowl party. Anyways, as I went to cash out at the Douglasville store, they cashier informed me that all their inventory was out. As I was heading to Birmingham for the weekend, I stopped by the Hoover and Crestwood store to continue my shopping. At the Crestwood store, the cashier casually mentioned to me the promo that was on part city website. I thought this was very thoughtful and appreciated it. So out of curiosity I went back to the Douglasville store, because I also had to do a return. When I asked the cashier about the promo, I got the deer in the headlights look as the male manager approached. So I asked him too about the promo, to which he told me there was no promo. I proceeded to pull up party to which he quickly responded that I needed to be on an email list. I then disagreed with him and proceeded to show him the website, to which he still disagreed with me. Needless to say, I made my return and won’t be returning. Screw this store. By the way, the Crestwood and Hoover store honored the promo, and I’ll certainly be going back to them. In all fairness, the Hoover location wasn’t sure about the promo until I showed it to them. Hope Party City stores aren’t like the store in Douglasville.

It’s ok. Not the best. Always crowded or never any cashiers. Slow. Especially during Halloween. Costs are higher then Walmart or Target. Even Five Below is cheaper.

I’m a fan of party city. This store is big and has everything you need for kids parties. My only concern is the employees that work here seem miserable. No one smiles and seems to be happy to help. Very low level of customer service.

Nice store. Full of good fun stuff for any party you could think of. Celebrating a co-workers recovery from Cancer. just picked up a few items from the list of things that we needed for next week. Pink. Pink and more PINK! I will say that I also stopped here a few weeks ago with my friend and his son on our way to the movies. I was surprised that although the individual pieces of candy were cheap, they only carried Carbonated beverages. Seems like they would have some Fruit Punch or Juice since the store focuses heavily on children.
