Stayed in a room here over the NYE holidays, and it was just grody. Especially for what they were charging, but I’ll be nice and chalk that up to it being a big holiday. I think people might actually live here, too, but I’m not 100% on that.
The room didn’t smell cleaned at all, and there were cigarette burns on the comforters and some of the furniture (including where someone had rested a cigarette on top of the mini fridge and it melted away). I took it upon myself to intentionally overlook anything else that could have been wrong with the room for fear of what I might find. It’s not a Bates Motel, but it’s literally only one step up.
