History

Established in 2015.

Capital Cheer Elite Allstar Cheerleading Academy will provide a safe, healthy, encouraging, respectful, challenging (yet fun) instructional environment for athletes who want to become competitive allstar cheerleaders. Our coaches and staff will provide its athletes with the forum to introduce and sustain all levels of allstar cheerleading, together with the guidance and training that will enable its athletes to achieve their cheer goals. Each of our coaches believe that fundamentals — all cheer fundamentals (social, character, emotional and physical) — are key to a successful and enriching cheer «career.» Through discipline and structure, our coaches and staff will help develop athletes’ character and integrity; building self-​confidence as friendships are formed, and learning accountability through team bonding events within our gym and community. Capital Cheer Elite athletes will not only be successful competitive allstar cheerleaders; but also successful community leaders.

Business Owner

Chelsea Thompson, CEO and Head Coach at Capital Cheer Elite Allstar Academy, opens this allstar cheerleading and tumbling facility in an effort to bring back the fundamentals of what makes the sport of allstar cheerleading so amazing and wonderful. In doing so, she brings years of first-​hand experience to her program; from being an athlete herself … to now not only coaching, but also owning what she believes will become a program that redefines allstar cheerleading. In addition to being well-​versed with the rules and trends of the cheer industry, Coach Chelsea also comes equipped with the managerial experience that she has learned from being a «hand’s-on» participant in her family’s business. She will use every resource available to her to make sure that her program is a successful one for years to come.
