New Image Inc has been custom screen printing garments for businesses, groups, and teams since 1972! In addition, we make signs & banners, business cards & business stationery, postcards and brochures. New Image Inc is also a distributor of over 700,000 custom printed promotional products.

History

Established in 1972.

New Image started in 1972 as Girard Sports. The name was soon changed to New Image and continued as a screen printing operation in Newark, DE. Ownership passed to current owners, Ron & Nancy in 1986. They added promotional products, signs & banners to the product mix and became authorized Ad Specialty Distributors that year. In 1993 they incorporated. Since then new products have been added including specialty inks, foils & glitters as well as full-​color digital transfers and photo-​tees!

Business Owner

Ron was a graphic arts student at the U of D back in the early ’80’s. He parlayed this knowledge into a position with at local screen printer. In this job he learned all the aspects of running a screen printing business and managed this business for a couple of years. In 1985 he moved to Charleston SC where he worked at Great Charleston Silk Screen Productions. In 1986, he and Nancy purchased New Image and returned to Newark, DE. After 28 years in Newark, they relocated their shop to Kent County, DE, just north of Dover.
