History

Established in 1969.

Pierce Fence Company has served the Delmarva Peninsula for more than 45 years. Mr. William E. Pierce was the first president of Pierce Fence. He retired after 28 years in the fencing business. Presently, it is owned and operated by William’s son Bob Pierce Sr. and grandson Bob Pierce Jr. It has been a family owned and operated company since it was established in 1969. We are proud to say Pierce Fence has been in the same location on DuPont Hwy since the beginning. The small office we started with has now expanded to a shop to produce custom vinyl and full of hard to find chain link parts. We have a large display of samples on location as well. At Pierce Fence we understand the dedication and commitment it takes in the business.

Pierce Fence was established in 1969 by Bob’s father Bill. Bob worked with his father, and 25 years ago became the new owner when his father decided to retire. Today Bob Sr. and Bob’s son Bob Jr. run Pierce Fence together. (Picture-​Bob Pierce Jr)
