So I wanted to try a new nail place since my regular spot has been charging me for gel nails when they are just using acrylic powder with a thing swipe of clear gel atop. I know this is a common practice, but I was frustrated (and paying $ 25 for fills that kept cracking off).
I read some reviews for Twilight and decided to stop in. I walked in and was seated right away. Bao (sp?) did my nails and they look fantastic. Seriously, he cleaned them up and they look perfect. He took his time. They have a rewards program which is nice, too. New nail place!

They are very clean, lots of colors and personable! Will be going back even though I can tell they might feel I’m a very picky customer. They tend to be extremely busy so try to make appontments!

Sami was great! I had an ingrown nail on my big toe that she offered to help with and promised to be gentle. I was a little leery being this was my 1st time there and wasn’t sure of her abilities. Glad I let her help — she was gentle and helped my big toe! Her pedicure was great as well — looking forward to going back!

Had the most amazing pedicure by Karen tonight. A hot scrub massage, amazing hot oil massage, paraffin and a wonderful massage chair. I really needed it. My feet and legs look and feel wonderful!

I have had it with this place. They «welcome» walk ins, but everytime I go, Im asked to come back later. I showed up 10 minutes after they opened and was asked to come back. You still have to wait when you make an appointment. Their pedicures are too expensive for the quality you get and the fill ins lift after about 4 days. I am much happier at a different place.

This is the best salon I’ve ever been to. Louis is fantastic and can do pink & white gel nails like no other. The selection of no chip colors is incredible.

I’m in love with twilight nails! They are truly awesome at what they do, they work miracles when you’ve fell victim to horrific nail care, and the entire staff is always friendly! They even offered me got tea during my service! I live 5 minutes away but this will always be my nail home even if I relocate within the central Illinois area!

I used to see louis back when he owned another location and when he moved i didnt know where he went and then thanksfully one year ago i found him! My nails are always done perfectly ever since. The one thing i love about louis and the rest of the staff is they listen to what you want and will explain if they think something isnt going to look right or turn out how pintrest shows it! They are always so very friendly there! Plus after going to the same place over and over its nice to be rewarded! They have a great point reward system! I am so happy to have found this place!

Horrible! Don’t go there for acrylic nails! Maybe the only thing they do is no chip. After you get out of the nail salon, you shouldn’t look for another one to fix it.

This place is amazing. Definitely call ahead because they get very busy but the staff is incredibly nice and SO accommodating. I had a unique style I was looking for with a set of gel nails and my nail technician Bao did an AMAZING job. My nails have never looked so beautiful! Remember cash for a tip, you’ll want it!

Alright, this place has been redeemed thanks to Diana who did an awesome job on my nails yesterday! I still like coming here (they definitely know how to do nails better than some of the other salons in this area) and it’s convenient!

I love this place! Everyone is really friendly and accommodating, this is a very busy salon so definitely make an appointment! Large selection of colors and no-​chip. My no-​chip manis have always been amazing and really look as great as they did when I got them after 2.5 weeks – nails are strong, unlike my recent experience at CT Nails (you guys were closed that day). I will never go anywhere else, even though it’s a little pricey. You get what you pay for!
Thank you for such great services and for doing a great job! My only complaint is when you have a sign up with «Relaxation Zone», parents should really not bring their young kids to salons or at least try to keep them quiet for those of us trying to relax! As a parent of 2 kiddos, I always leave them at home because it’s my time!
I almost forgot about the loyalty program, what a great incentive! I always get at least $ 5 off my services!

The place I usually go to was closed Saturday/​Sunday/​Monday for a long holiday weekend and my nails looked terrible. I couldn’t wait any longer for a fill, so I thought I would try ths place. Staff were very friendly and greeted me on arrival. I got right in, and they were welcoming of my service dog.
Mai was my tech and she was nice and professional, but didnt talk my ear off, which I appreciated. She was also quick, which is important, and did a great job on the filling and filing. We had trouble with the polish (bad bottle I guess) and it wouldn’t dry without bubbling. She patiently retried one thumb three times until letting the owner take over. We switched colors and he filed off the bad stuff and redid them, and they look great.
Prices were comparable to other places and they have a rewards card that’s digital (not a stamp card). Way cool. I will be back to try their pedi.

I’m only adding an extra star to the one star because of the people that work there are pleasant and nice.
I got a pedicure today and a polish change on my hands. My foot «massage» was a slight touch and the polish was messy and I could’ve done a better job myself at home. Also, I had asked to shorten the big toe a little bit and now I have a stubby looking toe. I had to clean off the edges of the cuticle area when I got home and then realized to take a picture. The picture that I’m adding already has some polished removed from the cuticle area and it’s still messy looking.
Now when I get my pedicure done I will have to inspect it before leaving. I’m so mad that not only did I pay for this service but also tipped too generously before inspecting and leaving

Stopped in on Sunday for the 1st time for a pedicure. No wait, which was great! The salon is modernly decorated and appeared clean. I was handed a menu and the cheapest pedicure was $ 30. A little pricey in my opinion. My pedicurist was short with me and didn’t thank me when I tipped her, but she did a good job. I’d probably return again if my usual salon is booked and I needed last-​minute service.

Anyway, the service is always great, the no chips last, and the pedicures are FABULOUS. It may cost a few bucks more, but it’s so worth it!

I’ve gone to the same place on and off for 10 years. I’ve tried other salons but nothing’s been better… Until by chance my other salon was booked that I found this place and I will never let anyone else besides Louis do my nails!
It’s a little pricey but totally worth it .

I checked this place out after reading the awesome reviews of my fellow Unilocalers. I was greeted with a friendly «hello. What can we help you with?» I said I wanted a regular manicure.
The entire time the manicure technician did my nails, he kept pushing the pedicure services and no chip manicures. I told him I just wanted a regular manicure. I wanted to tell him to shut up about the pedicure treatments.
He also reeked of alcohol. Now, this was late afternoon on a Sunday. Another technician kept coming over talking to him about how much they partied the night before (yeah, I know, you smell of booze still dude). Not very professional.
Oh, and my nail polish chipped within a couple of days of getting my $ 20 manicure.
Save your time and money. There are nail places on just about every corner, and this is one to avoid. Unless you appreciate pigs doing your nails and talking about partying the entire time.
