Blizz Frozen Yogurt

I have yet to try the yogurt. I assume the same as anywhere else. But let’s just talk about the crepes, they are so good. The only down side is that I saw one of the girls pulling out a pre made crêpe (tortilla) out of the fridge. I remember when they used to actually pour the batter on to the warmer.

I didn’t like the crepes here. I got the one with strawberry, whipped cream, and cream cheese sauce. The whipped cream tastes so fake here. The cream cheese barely has flavor and the crepes just taste like cooked dough. Not at all like a cake battery sweet taste. Dont waste your 8 dollars here on a crappy crêpe.

Clean. Staff was busy gossiping. Yogurt was good variety was as you come to expect from any of the fro-​yo places. I ordered a smoothie and it was extremely sweet. Not pleased with the excessive sugar. Otherwise it wasn’t very memorable.

Great acai bowls!

So I came to get an acai bowl this morning, and they don’t have consistency on their measures. paid almost 6 dollars for such a small amount, when I asked the guy he said.. That’s how they’re done and not much he can do. not bringing my business here anymore. btw, it was completely melt it and not well mixed I still had some of the frozen piece inside.

Short but simple review.
Yogurt has way better taste and texture then other yogurt places, the toppings bar is always full and clean! I always get welcomed as i walk in the door. I get samples and for once blizz employees never seem bothered to help me big menu. Tried a powerbowl for the first time and it was delicious! And cant forget about the crepes! my favorite place will become yours!!!

My favorite place for a healthy breakfast. Their Brazil Acai Bowl is amazing. Very fresh and delicious!

My sister and I love this spot. We always come for the crepes! They are beyond delicious and all of the ingredients are fresh. The place is always spotless. The staff isn’t rude or anything but they aren’t particularly friendly or upbeat. So A++ for taste, quality and cleanliness, B for customer service.

Frozen yogurt join. Not much to say. Nothing «Outstanding» about the place but it doesn’t have good qualities and I do recommend!

Just stopped in for a smoothies. But the crepes are my go to favorites for this spot. Great selection for your yogurt.

I love this place!!! their New York Style «CREPES» the best I ever had not only for their delicious FILLING but sweet fresh strawberries and WHIP are to die for :) *recently followed them to their Firestone location after my Cerritos location closed. I live in LA but the drive is totally worth it!!! I love to come here because after I have their tasty CREPES and frozen yogurt is like I’m in heaven!!!

I don’t of any crêpe places so we came here. Nutella crepes! Mmmmm! Melted in my mouth. So good! Don’t forget the vanilla bra nice cream on the side! So good. The Yogurt is really good too! Need a place to eat crepes? Here ya go!

Super friendly staff! Love being greated as soon as I walk in! Always kept extremely neat and organized! New flavors are coming in and they’re awesome! Strawberry shortcake mixed with NY cheescake is the best! Love it here!

This place is immaculately clean, and everything is well organized. The staff was very friendly and accommodating when I wanted to try multiple flavors. The toppings bar had a lot of yummy choices. My only complaint was the granola was a bit stale so I found myself picking it out my yogurt. Other than that this place is pretty darn awesome! Highly recommended you have to visit if your ever in the area. Yougurt land what??? Lol

I love froyo and I love Blizz. This is probably my favorite place in Downey. Mostly because they have pistachio froyo, do you know how hard it is to find pistachio froyo? They also have very good brownie bites and the cookie dough is good too. Great place to beat the heat.

Damn right.
After eating in here you start to realize they constantly leave their thermostat around 60 degrees. Good for hot summer days. Not so good any other time of year.
Nothing too special about this place.
You’ve had frozen yogurt before? Well this place is no different.
Their flavors are all the same, from basic to a little more extravagant. I.E. Red Velvet and Pistachio.
Their toppings? Well, again. You’ve already seen them. Sour gummy worms. Check. Almonds. Check. Reese’s cups/​pieces… the list goes on and on.
All you fools complaining that this place serves at .39 an ounce? Maybe you shouldn’t be buying anything from anywhere seeing as how you must be stingy as all hell.
Seriously? 6 more cents an ounce and you complain? You mad’ bro?
You must be firing off guns and strapping on bombs with these rising gas prices, huh?

$ 0.39 an ounce?! That’s more expensive than Yogurtland ($ 0.33 an ounce)!
They only have 8 basic blah flavors… Their toppings area is pretty small…
Inside it looks nice but who cares after today’s horrid experience! You see I thought the flavors were so boring that I just got raspberry. At Yogurtland I will get up to three flavors. I didn’t even get that much yogurt. Then I went to the blueberries. I always pick tons of blueberries as a topping. Well these blueberries were dripping with blueberry water. I have never seen this happen even at really lame ghetto places. Ewww!!! So I sat down and started to eat these suspect blueberries. Many were TOO RIPE! Ewww again!!! One of them ruined my whole day! One was rotten! Ewwww yet again!!! I braved through the rest of this frozen hell and stared at the workers hoping they would see my disgust and ask if everything was ok. Silly me. Oh, and the raspberry here tastes just like strawberry. Lame!
What a travesty!!!

On 7÷21÷2011, my husband and I took our two small children to Blizz for a treat. We purchased frozen yogurt and crepes.
I noticed that the Blizz employee didn’t start making our crepes until about 15 minutes after we placed our order. While we were waiting for our crepes, I asked if my five year old daughter could use the restroom but I was denied access. It was suggested by the employee that I take my daughter to the taco restaurant across the parking lot; I found this suggestion offensive as we were customers of Blizz not customers of the taco restaurant.
Instead, I took my daughter to our car where she urinated in a cup. To add insult to injury, moments later when I returned to Blizz for the crepes, it turns out they got my my order wrong and we had to wait for the crepes to be redone. I almost asked for a refund but didn’t want my kids to see me flustered.
I could not believe that Blizz, a business open to the public that serves food does not have a bathroom for customers’ use. I am disappointed that an exception could not be made to allow my daughter to use the bathroom.
As I mentioned, it was our first visit and because of this incident, I’m afraid it will be our last. Hopefully in the future they will make exceptions for customers with small children.

In an attempt to find something to please my sweet tooth after a good lunch, I clicked on my Unilocal app on my phone and looked for the closest frozen yogurt place I could find. Blizz was the lucky winner.
Not the best, but it was decent. At 39 cents an ounce, one can’t complain too much about this little treat. They have a decent choice of flavors and toppings. I got half Pistachio, half Mango. Topped with some mochi, cookie dough, strawberries, and condensed milk, I was ready for my treat.
The pistachio flavor is sweet, and does taste like the ice cream. The mango was tangy. The texture was creamy, however, a bit grainy. And I must mention that it melted a bit too quickly.
This being the closest frozen yogurt place to my work, I’ll probably be back soon.
