I originally worked with Osvaldo in Norwalk, CA office, I was EXTREMELY disappointed when he lied about our policy and over charged my husbands card without his CONSENT! Definitely filing a complaint I said, HOWEVER, I walked into the Downey office and Ozzie the Manager here took great care of our needs! He managed to no only assist with the complaint I had (even when it did not pertain to him) and turn the entire situation around, we walked out with a smile on our faces :) and stayed a customer.

I went in about one year ago. i was promised one quote after a few months it was higher. not happy at all.

Sergio at Freeway helped me get a great rate and had great customer service! I came in and got hell right away. He was able to lower my rate with an even better company. Definitely would recommend!

Sergio Garcia was very helpful. He found me cheap insurance even with my tickets that I had gotten. Thank you Sergio =)

Had a few bad experiences with the company but the manager Sergio called and took care of it

I have been a customer here for a few years. I always receive speedy and great customer service. Great place to get your insurance, they work hard to find what you need and want! Ask for German or Sergio they’re great at helping with any of your needs.

This is the worse experience I have ever had with insurance in my whole life… I have been giving the run around and the customer service is horrible. I canceled my insurance and was still charged for an extra month of insurance to which I was supposed to be refund and they took a life time to do so the. Charged me a million fees to the point I received 20 $ back

Due to my policy not being cancelled on a timely manner, it was sent to collections!
I was told by the Norwalk location it was taken care of not after the first but 2^nd, 3^rd time of calling and speaking to multiple representatives/​agents. The store manager still has not returned my phone calls. I was tired of being ignored at the Norwalk office so I came over to Downey for better hope of service and although it is a smaller office, Michael did an excellent job helping me with everything that I needed to take care for my policy and get it back in good standards. Thank you for your time, I greatly appreciate the great service!

Buying insurance sucks but these guys made it easy. Richard made my shopping experience painless. I’ve insured two cars with his help. I’m 30 have an accident on my record and drive Benz and Beemers. My insurance is always super expensive but I told Richard what my budget was and what coverage I needed and he found me a policy that fit exactly what I needed. If you value your time and don’t want to run around town getting quotes give them a call.

I have had nothing but good experiences here. A few nights ago I locked my keys in my car and I was at walking distance from this location. I walked in and Michael tellez helped me out. He was very nice and explained to me what my options were. I feel like they really do go above and beyond and look for your best interest.

Unprofessional, and unorganized. The 1^st time my husband, and I went in one of the Ins brokers was pulling down her shirt to show off her tattoos, and the music was so loud, it felt like a nightclub. The 2^nd time we went in, we changed policies, not too bad of an experience, except for the loud music again. The 3^rd time I went in to add a car, we needed to change policies again. It took 3 hours, it was done wrong, the insurance company sent a letter said we were cancelled. I called Freeway, they said we weren’t, then Freeway called my husband, and left a message saying we were cancelled! Keep in mind we gave a $ 450 down payment, with another $ 150 pending withdraw a week later, and I DON’T KNOW IF WE’RE COVERED OR NOT! Oh and did I mention the loud music AGAIN…

I saw decent reviews for this freeway insurance and decided to try them out. Called beforehand and explained I was interested in homeowners insurance and if they could give me a quote over the phone.
The girl I spoke with, Maria, said I needed to come in to get a quote. So, I make an appointment. Show up on time and once again ask for a quote to which the agent there has no clue how to handle. NO ONE IN THE OFFICE HAD THE BRAINS TO DO IT. The agent then proceeds to write a phone number to someone in freeway that can help me. *sigh*.
They couldn’t give me this number over the phone? Was Maria, who I spoke with just senselessly saying «yes we can help, come in». Just to get me in there? You betcha!
Even after this debacle was over with the sworn promise never to return, I decided to leave well enough alone. That is until I get a phone call from another clueless agent accusingly saying I missed my appointment at freeway in Downey and when they could expect me to come in. Oh, sometime after hell freezes over.
For the record I like freeway insurance. Called another one in downtown L.A. and walked out with a new policy. Avoid the Downey freeway. They’re irresponsible, clueless, incompetent and not worth your time and money.

Janet (Agent) was very friendly and helpful! I got unsured Motorist with liability for $ 50 (monthly) and the rest in payments!

This place has poor customer service, starting with the Manager (Robert). Melina Layton is the worst, she need attitude adjustment poor woman she must hate her job how sad. I also contacted the complaint hot-​line number to report how I was being treated by this agent and that the manager was sitting across from her and did not even tried to stop her. I was so upset on how this woman was talking to me with attitude because I had asked her what were the extra charges that was on our statement that were never expressed from the beginning, we were confused about. She said that policy is under my daughters name she refuses to talk to me about it when both my daughter and I were sitting at her desk. I got up an told her that I was going to
report her and she sarcastically said «drive safe» as I was leaving out the door.
What a Bitch.

Freeway Insurance does not know about ethics and customer service. I was insured with them and requested a quote for adding an extra vehicle. I found a better deal elsewhere and decided to cancel my policy. I called and they said I would have to come in the office in person to do it. When I arrived, the female agent began asking 1000 and 1 questions as to why I switched insurance. I told her I got a better deal. She was not satisfied and kept on asking more questions. I asked if she could just cancel the policy and stop being so intrusive. Then, she went to the manager and whispered in his ear. He (Robert, the manager) advised her to let me know that instead of coming to his office, I needed to call the 800 number to have it canceled. After having driven 20 miles and wasted my lunch hour, they told me I needed to call the 800 number.
I was upset, stood up and demanded that he cancel my insurance that I no longer needed. With a combative stance, Mr. Robert said that I was being rude and he would not help me. HE WAS OBVIOUSLY UPSET THAT I WAS SWITCHING INSURANCE COMPANIES. I kept insisting that the only thing I needed was my policy canceled. I think he was embarrassed because there were other customers there and with a negative attitude, he agreed to go ahead and cancel my policy.
I called the complaint hotline and told them what happened. I hope they see a pattern here and do something about it. I am sure there are other people that have complained about the same issue.
PLEASE, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEIR PRACTICES ARE DECEPTIVE AND THEY POCKET ALL THE HEFTY DOWN PAYMENTS THEY REQUIRE. GO WITH A REAL INSURANCE COMPANY.

HOLA!!! mi nombre es Carmen Bonilla y solo les quiero compartir esta terrible experiencia de la cual me siento fustada y arta de esta MRD!!! ASEGURANZA FREEWAY INSURANCE… la primera vez q asegure mi moto con ellos, pedi q estuvieramos inncluidos mi esposo y yo CREANME PERDI CASI 3 HORAS EN ESA OFICINA!!! y si no que chequeen el video!!! entre que ellos decidian quien hiba a comprar el café y la comida y de colmo que cuando pagas con tarjeta de debito o credito necesitan un codigo de autorizacion que segun solo el manager de la oficina lo sabe le hacian llamadas telefonicas y el nunca respondio por lo cual decidi IRRRRRRR yo a el banco sacar el dinero y regresar a pagar terrible!!! MALISIMA EXPERIENCIA!!!
el precio no me parecio mal por que mi esposo no tiene licencia de california meparecio normal cuando me entregaron la tarjeta provicional donde solo aparecia mi nombre pues ya anteriormente habia asegurado mis carros con la misma compañia y lo mismo paso segun dijeron que a mi casa llegaria las tarjetas con los nombres de los dos lo cual NOOOOOOO fue cierto… fui a reclamar y me dijeron que no que habia una equivocacion y que el no estaba dentro de la poliza indignada decidi cancelar mi poliza la sorpresa fue q solo tenia una semana de haberla agarrado y habia pagado casi $ 300 y ellos me devolvieron solamente $ 87 increiblemente una semana carisima!!! luego de estupida llegue a otra oficina de la misma Mrd!!! FREEWAY INSURANCE Y DEL PERSONAL NO ME QUEJO ELLOS SI MUY amables pero decidi chequear todo con cautela y pues todo estaba bien la sorpresa fue q a los 15dias recibi una nota diciendo q mi poliza expiraba en dic. 5 q por que no tenia la copia de la lic. de mi esposo indignada regrse a la oficina nuevamente yo vi q amplificaron la copia pero si note que estaba un poco oscura y rapidamente le dije a la persona q necesitaba q la sacara una copia mas clara dijo no señora asi esta bien no se preocupe y hoyyyyyyyyy recibo otra llamada dicinedo que mi poliza esta cancelada desde el dia 5 q porque la copia q mandaron esta muy oscura saben que estoy ARTA DE DE ESTA ASEGURAZORA Y JAMAS SE LA RECOMNDARIA A NADIE ES UNA BASURA DE COMPAñIA…
