My appointment was with Dr. SHAMLOU. This was my first visit. The wait time to get called back was about 10 mins. Front office staff was very nice. Once i was in a room the wait was another 10 mins or so. The doctor did a brief physically exam. And then proceeded to look at my MRI results. He showed me what exactly was going on with my back. Explained everything in layman terms. He also explained all of my treatment options. Very personable doctor with a sense of humor. Highly recommend.

I do not see how some have given this office good reviews. They must not expect much from a doctors office. This place herds you in like cattle and crams the schedule full of appointments that they cannot possibly honor. They have very little regard for your time and responsibilities. I went in 30 minutes early for my appointment and was not seen until one hour and five minutes after my scheduled time… and they have the nerve to make all patients agree to a $ 35 charge if a patient misses an appointment. I have also tried to make same day appointments on two occasions for some serious pain, but they refused to allow me in. The back office staff are much nicer, but that does not make up for the lack of respect and common courtesy the office lacks. I’ve also been placed on hold by a rude receptionist when trying to make an appointment. There are obviously problems here. Communication and patient respect are just two of them. Shame on the doctors for not making any improvements here!

The rehab wing of this group is awesome. Joe and Liz really know what they’re doing. Plus, the conversations are always interesting, as they have so many charismatic characters coming through there (Glenda!).

Went to this place after having a fracture. The office staff was profedional, friendly and helpful. I did wait a long time but was worth the wait. I was pleased with the doctor that saw me. He explained everything to me in detail and what the next step would be. I dont like waiting but I love that the doctor spent time with me and showed he cared.

I’m glad I didn’t read the reviews of this place before I went. I was able to squeeze myself into a same-​day appointment to see Dr. Chambers at 2:30. They told me since I was being squeezed in there would be a small wait, ok no problem. I only waited for a half hour before being called back. I came here with x-​rays and results from another clinic but for some reason they kept freezing their computer and would not show up. I called the crap clinic I had previously gone to (Santo Tomas Medical in Downey) and asked them if they could fax it over. They said sure but the doctor never received the fax even after 30 minutes had passed. The doctor came in and said they would just do x-​rays here for me. Me, not having insurance and being a cash patient opened my mouth nervously to ask the dreaded question but the doctor beat me to it and said no charge. The x-​ray technician was awesome and friendly, cracking jokes and making me feel ultra-​comfortable. When I went back to my room the doctor was there within a few minutes and letting me know what I needed to do and how to properly fix my hand. I left there thoroughly pleased with everything about this place, regretting that I had gone to that crap clinic in the first place.
**side note** Other reviewers have complained about the wait time for this place, and although I did not experience a long wait time, my time spent there was around 2.5 hours. A large portion of this time was due to Santo Tomas’s x-​ray disk not working, then waiting for the fax that never came.

This place is HORRIBLE!!! Had an appointment for 9am it’s 11am and we are still waiting. The staff is rude and don’t seem to care about the people here. Customer service is terrible. Why do they even bother giving you an appointment. The place looks crappy too.
1110 am. We are finally in. I just had the most pointless argument with this rude nurse whom stated, «it’s always this way, every orthopedic clinic has a long wait» like if that’s supposed to make me feel better. I asked what the point of waiting here since 9 was, she said other appointments always take a long time, I said and then why don’t you give yourselves more time with each appointment rather than making the other patients wait. She said that’s the way it works.

I do not recommend this orthopedic office, first of all they make you wait for over an hour and a half to see the dr. And then the Dr. takes an hour to see you, to check on you and he acts like he doesn’t care or has definitely no idea of what is going on with your problem. Came to see Dr. sham loud first and after seeing Dr. Park and now Dr. Chambers they have not taken care of the problem on my ankles. Definitely not recommending this orthopedic office.
