Kimmy Nails

Needed to get my nails done and came back to Kimmy Nails! Ask for Kathy, she’ll always hook it up! I always sit back and let her work her magic and my nails always turn out fabulous. I got an ombré gel full set this time (posted a pic for y’all to see), and all I can say is… look at that perfection! She is so meticulous and detailed and you can tell she puts in effort to give her clients amazing nails! Trust me, ask for Kathy and you won’t be disappointed!

I have been going here for my eyebrows since I was ¹³⁄₁₄ years old. Almost 10 years later this place is still one of the best. I also love the gel manicures. The staff is friendly, and always does a great job. The owner is a hardworking mother runs multiple salons and also WORKS in this one. She is a truly hardworking person.

Kimmy is the only one I will ever let me do my brows. When she went on vacation I went to a different beauty technician and now I have to fill in my brows since she shortened my end and thinned them out. but when Kim has been doing it for years I didn’t have to do a thing.

I came here because my friend wanted to get her full set so i decided to get a gel manicure. DO NOT GO HERE! Everything they do here is fucked up. Nail file was previously used as well as the nail buffer. He pulled his nipper and cuticle pusher from a drawer. When he was finished all he did was wipe it off and put it back in the drawer. I want to report them to stateboard but unfortunately they are not taking complaints for some odd reason. So im writing this as a warning. DONT EVEN STEP FOOT IN THIS SHOP.

My nails were fixed and then had a total makeover by Kathy! She worked her magic on nails that weren’t… Let’s just say «up to par». I usually go with a soiled or glitter color but I noticed kathys ombré nail color and I immediately had to copy! I’m extremely satisfied with my new look and will definitely be going back to her!

I have honestly been coming to Kimmy Nails for years, the service has depreciated over time. I paid $ 38 for a pedicure and a full set. I told the guy look I’m going to pay you, but I absolutely hate these nails. He said ok and took my money. I will never come back and do my nails here again! I’m so upset, I think the guy is new he did not know what he was doing!

They fucking suck ! A guy that works there fucked up my nails. 30 dollars for this shit?

This place is horrible i would give it negative stars if i could. The man who did my fills was extremely rude, he was talking on the phone the entire time and when i tried to ask him to fix my nails he put his finger up to shut me up and said hold on as he continued doing my nails and talked on the phone. He painted my nails really fast and left the nails with bubbles and dirty around the edges. Did not even want to pay them. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

Over use of their chemicals to remove dead skin on the feet left my feet in pain and with open wounds. I will be filing a report with the BBB.

Honestly the worst nail salon I’ve ever been to. Their customer service was the absolute worse. Believe me when I say that do not go here, they did not even do a good job on my nails. Only reason why I put one star is because I had to. If I could I would get no stars. If you want to have to go to a better nail salon after and waste more money, do not go here.

I love Kimmy she has always helped me out with the kindest service. She always is resonable when it comes to her pricing. She is always thinking of her clients first and their satisfaction. My new acrylics are amazing! :)

I should have read reviews before I walked in, but only reason I cheated on my guy at colorful nails in Bellflower is because I was getting my car serviced and had to kill time. The place was crowded, it’s not a dirty place and many workers ready to take on the crowd.
The lady doing my pedicure rushed and didn’t do a good job. It’s pricey too…
Lesson learned, never cheat on my nail guy

Didn’t like the person that attended me. The guy that work there was literally rushing me to sit down, did my nails half fast And was rushing me to pick my color. After he was done with my nails he didn’t even give me a chance to glance at my nails to see if I like them or if they were OK. Instead he charge me to pay him up to get the heck out. I couldn’t believe him he was kicking me out all because his shift was over and he want to go home… Would I go again eeeh idk to be honest. So if you do go just don’t do your nails with the man that works there!

First time here after being with my old nail place. I was pleasantly surprised with their great customer service, cleanliness! And excellent job on my manicure & pedicure! Thank you Kimmy this is now my new Nail Spot!

I came in for a pedicure and waited 25 minutes before being asked what I was there for. Once I showed her a picture of a mani-​pedi I wanted done, the lady said she could do it. However once I got my feet wet she said she could only do it with gel polish. I don’t like the damage of gels so I showed her the picture again which featured regular nail polish she insisted she can only do gels, trying to get more money I presume. I said no thank you and she put the towel over my feet and that was that. So I left with wet feet. I will never be back again poor customer service is inexcusable.

I went to this place 2 week ago for the 1^st time. it was super crowded so I thought that must be good. My pedicure went off without a hitch. But the man that did my nails was super rough and rushing. I had to stop him to tell him that he was hurting me. He was giving me a fill and replacing one nail. I think his name is Joe, he was so in a rush that he could not wait for the machine to finish drying my gel nails and wipe the polish off of my thumb.
So, less than a week later the nail that he replaced lifted. A few of my nails felt like they were lifting but did not look like the were lifted. After a week one of my nails looked like it was dirty underneath but I kept forgetting about it. But it kept getting darker, I went back to them a couple of times but they were closed. My coworker said it looked like fungus so I needed to go back to them to take it off and check. I was finally able to catch them open on Monday and they tried to get the same man to take off the nail (was not going to happen). When she took the acrylic off, I almost cried. The fungus was so bad that I told her to take all of them off. Only to find that I had fungus on 2 nails.
The manager/​owner was not there, so I had to come back on Wednesday. I went back and the manager/​owner tried to get me to let someone else do my nails. I told her that I don’t trust any of them and that I wanted my money back and some anti-​fungus medicine. She initially said that I can get the anti-​fungus medicine to take home but she changed her mind because she said it was the last one, smh. But she did give me half of my money back. Oh, and Joe told her that my nails were old and he only did a fill. I told her that he is a liar and that he does not need to be doing anyone’s nails.
In closing, I will NEVER go back to this place again.

If I could give negative stars I would, the guy who decided he was going to do my nails took two hours for gel nails on natural nails!!! He kept on fucking messing up and coloring on my skin and did like five layers of nail polish because he didn’t know what he was doing. This fucking dude was a joke he shouldn’t be allowed to do anything except clean around the nail shop picking up after everybody else

Worst!!! I went for a pedicure and i got 2 bleeding toes
I couldnt wear shoes just sandals for a whole week

They always do a good job. Sometimes I come in with a difficult design, so we compromise They try till their customers are happy

They are friendly and ready to make your nails fabulous! I’ve been going here for years. My acrylic nail technician is RO! He is amazing and quick! He will also suggest things that you wouldn’t normally get that will just work! The owner of this salon is amazing and sweet! She makes sure things are done right. I recommend this place bc I’m always satisfied!
