Had a good experience, not sure where all the complaints are coming from.
It may be hard to find. It is in a large blue/​white building that says PIH (or PHI) with a huge parking lot that is usually pretty full. It is on the fourth floor, to the right and then a left after exiting the elevator.
I came in on Monday, February 22, 2016, for a pre-​employment drug screen. BE AWARE: pre-​employment drug screens are only done from 12pm-4pm.You are able to call ahead and make an appointment, but I came in without an appointment at about 1:30 pm. It was a full waiting room. They staff I interacted with to sign-​in was friendly and attentive. They simply requested my pre-​employment screen form and picture ID to start processing me then I had to wait.
Considering I did not have an appointment, I only had to wait about 30 minutes. There were about 4 – 6 people before me. They only had two technicians working at the time. One was drawing blood and the other was working the reception area and doing urine samples.
When I got called in, they verified my identification. They ask you to remove all your personal belongings and lock them in a storage bin in the restroom then you give the key back to the technician while you will be collecting your sample. They provide you with a new, clean and sterile sample cup and direct you back to the restroom. You are allowed up to four minutes in the bathroom to provide your sample. Another Unilocaler mentioned that there was a yellow «substance» on the sink and toilet. LOL, it’s yellow caution tape sealing off the ability to flush and run the water. You are not allowed to do either, as the technician needs to preserve the integrity of the sample. Once you have exited the restroom and given your sample to the tech, then you are allowed to wash your hand in another room. The tech gets some signatures/​initials from you on your paperwork and you are done. They give you the key to get your belongings out of the storage bin and you are on your way.
For me, personally, it took 2 business days for my employer to get the results and give me a call back after I had passed.
There were no stains on the floor like the pictures (must have had them cleaned). The restroom itself was clean. Plenty of toilet seat covers and toilet paper, the floor was cleaned and it did not smell bad. The staff was very patient, informative and not rude at all. They kept everyone updated on the estimated wait time.

Zero stars if possible. Long lines, rude employees and rough service when taking blood. I think this company focus on marketing to the doctors and companies and don’t care how they treat their customers. After all, customers come to them because they were referees by doctors and employers. Horrible

On the forth floor and In the corner, kind of hidden.
Very small. Only enough space for the chairs they have against the walls in the waiting room.
I’ve been here a few times already and have had an hour while waiting for results in the waiting room and have been able to observe them. They are not very welcoming. No smiles on any of the techs faces. You need to be the one that greets and starts the convo. No «good morning!» Or «hello, how can i help you?»
They talk to eachother with smiles and laughs, but no expression on their faces when talking to their customers.
I’ve been sitting here for 45 minutes today, and already two angry customers slammed the door on their way out due to the fact that LabCorp needs the proper insurance information. NOT EXPIRED EITHER, even if you still hold the same insurance. Either you have the correct information or they will charge you on the spot.

The worst place!!! The staff have no professionalism in how they speak to patients. Their facility is dirty, and no room to house all of their patients. DMV probably has better service than this place

I don’t know it the 2.5 hour wait at quest diagnostics across the street wear me out or If the responsibility of the employees really is bellow ground level.
We come here after talking to the building across the street (they sent me here with a name of a person they had called) I asked the secretary (or whoever she is, I highly suggest name tags for all employees it makes explaining so much easier) she said she’s never heard of that person before. I told her what I needed done she said to take a seat the wait would be around 45 minutes.
After the 45 minute wait they come asking for the papers and the reason why we were there (shouldn’t they have done that first when we first checked in???) .
Oh but it gets better.
They finally call in the patients name (my mom) and of course I go in with her to supervise (you can’t trust anyone these days and there is power in numbers). She came in for a simple blood panel, one 8.5 ml, and two 4.0ml, it’s not that complicated, it’s a routine draw that even I, a non-​medical student, non medical assistant, non nurse even knows. All the people taking the information so far have been females. The guy who takes us in is a tall male with glasses and light hair (very kind by the way, extremely helpful compared to everyone else in that office) and he let out a big sigh. I’m my mind I thought, ok great something else that’s going to make me stay here longer. Sure enough he asks me «has she done her urine test yet?» And I almost banged my head against the wall. This is information the lady should’ve told us at the beginning or at least before her name was called. We’re sitting in the narrow waiting room for almost an hour doing nothing productive when we could’ve at least taken care of that test and not wasted more time after her name has been called.
But this man, I’ll try to get his name very professional efficient, and is treating her as he speaks. Spanish isn’t his first language but he does speak it, it is understandable and you can tell he does know the proper procedure before treating a patient. Look he’s all done! Great job SHAWN! (Or John I couldn’t really hear over the screaming kid haha) but he’s tall, glasses, thin, and light to fair brown hair. Thank you for the awesome care and for knowing how to do your job right! Five stars for him!

Not sure what everyone was griping about. I got there at 7:02AM on a Tuesday (without an appointment), filled out paperwork, got my lab work done, and was out by 7:14AM. Early bird gets the worm! The guy working there with the beard was really nice too.

This is crazy why do they give you an appointment if they are going to see you an hour later. The medical staff is always lame and eating in the front office unprofessional if you ask me. I hate bringing my parent here, I will definetly be looking at another location to take my parent this is unacceptable too many choices out there to be dealing with an unprofessional place.

Dirty waiting room and they make you wait forever just to pee in a cup. Try to avoid this place if you have a choice.

This place is shit, they know it’s busy on Saturday yet they only have one person doing the blood drawing … been waiting more than 1 ½ hrs.

First impression when I walked in was not that good.
No «welcome», «hello» or any kind of positive acknowledgement.
Just a «do you have an appointment, sign in here».
After we walked into the room for a blood draw, they were a little more friendly but not by much.
They were quick and professional at the actual blood draw, I have to admit.

Checked my sister at 713, her appointment was at 7, they managed to get my sister within 20 minutes. The lab staff were courteous, efficient and
for the clinic, its ok. nothing special about this place. No TV nor magazine for people that had to wait to keep them occupied, not even «elevatormusic». Anyway, at least it’s maintained clean.

Girl working the front desk today was a nit wit. Seemed to be the common consensus since a couple other patients asked to work with someone else besides her. I had a 12 30pm appointment, got there at 12. Gave her my paperwork at 12 05pm. Watched 5 other people (who arrived after me) get called in… then the girl peeks her head out around 12 35 asking if I already gave her my paperwork. I said yeah, and my ID. She sits back down, ruffles some papers, and mumbles to herself, «oh, here it is». She processes my paperwork, and I finally get called in at 12 45pm. The guy who took my sample was nice and professional. I think they need someone different at the front desk, though.

Oh man this place is crazy busy! Checked in at 10 am and was called in at 11:25 am Should have made an appt., its a zoo. People bringing their crazy loud kids in tow and they have their little devices with the kiddie shows so loud it’s deafening. They need at least two more med techs working and one more person at the window. Gotta give it to homegirl at the front desk, she’s holding it down and keeping her cool. I’d need a sedative the first hour. Once in it was 10 minutes tops.

I took my son on a Wednesday at 1 p.m. and there was no one in the waiting room so he was the first seen. Took about 10 min total from signing in and getting blood labs drawn. I’ve seen it busy before but will try my best to go in afternoon if no fasting. We are going to see how LABCORP is with sending info to Doctor since Quest started charging a phenomenal fee to send the Doctor the results.

Make an appointment. There were 2 others ahead of me and i was there for 30 minutes.

These days I often feel trapped, at the mercy of the medical system.
Short of all the dull, tired platitudes of «We care for you», «We understand your pain» and «You are our most important customer», reality speaks volumes differently and my own feelings border on being little more than a faulty part on an unfeeling conveyor belt in an assembly line process. So when minor good things happen, they become a noteworthy item.
Take Labcorp, for instance.
Discovering I had a blood disease last year, I’ve taken numerous blood tests… much more than I care to even think about. And I hate them. But I understand the need for them and when required, I thrust my arm forward, roll up my sleeve and clench my fist with no fear. It’s gotta be done.
Lately, I’ve had to visit Labcorp to provide blood work so UCLA can interpret where I lie on the assembly line. They’ll determine if I am worthy of scrapping, rework, repair or, hopefully, a fully qualified part. I’ve been to two of Labcorp’s facilities and on both occasions, have been quite satisfied with their work. Minimally staffed, small offices and labs require the usual insurance card and little more than your name, address, signature, Rx and then your arm, veins exposed.
In both cases, I got there a little earlier than required and it’s taken less than fifteen minutes before all is done and I’m walking out the door, looking for food.
Just a noteworthy minor item somewhere on the assembly line of health care.
1−29−10, arriving at 0855 for my 0900 (and 3^rd blood test), I signed the check-​in slate in an SRO crowd and off to the side on the «for office use only» penned «Appt». When the only gal working came in and scanned the list, she asks «Robin?», I say «Right here.» and to the wild-​eyed stares of the crowd, entered the lab, got stabbed and was out the door, looking for food. 15 minutes. She even comped my short hair, how nice.
