I highly recommend Dr. Fishman! My older son was treated for tooth decay at age 4 and since his initial treatment he has had great check ups. He has not developed anymore cavities and he is now 6. The idea of sedating a child for dental treatment sounds scary, but Dr. Fishman and his anesthesiologist put my mind at ease. When my son’s dentist told me that my 3 year old son had tooth decay as well I asked her to make a referal to Pediatric Dental Arts because I trust Dr. Fishman and his staff. My younger son just came out sedation and everything went well. I’m very happy with Pediatric Dental Arts.

Very satisfied with the services and attention they had for my daughter. Super friendly Dr. CIMA AND staff are awesome.

Words just can’t explain how grateful I am to have found a wonderful office. From the moment I walked in the door I knew that this was a place I want to bring my child. Getting to know the staff and doctors at this office only makes the experience 10x better. Here’s the breakdown:
Office is clean
Staff is always smiling
Doctors will always answer questions
Digital X-​rays which are less radiation for the little ones
When taking X-​rays thyroid collar is also provided
Stickers, goodie bags, and balloons are given
Everyone is board certified which is amazing because you know your getting the best of the best.

Today dr Fishman went above and beyond for my son. my son had a loose b a by tooth but it was effecting him and he couldn’t get it out. last night he tried pulling it and he screamed and he could feel the skin and roots when pulling. .it was also pressed up in the side of the gums. he panicked. I took him to the E.R. Two hour wait. I was like this ain’t happening. so I thought call the office see if emergency number was there and it was. this happened 930 at night and dr Fishman was paged. Call went straight to him. he picked up told him the situation and he said call back on my cell and send picture of the tooth. I did and he called back. said don’t see pus but needs come out. He said leave the Er and bring my son into the office in the morning and I’ll get it done between patients. .He cared enough to help after hours when he is home with his family and was very supportive and understanding.. He took the time to help in a scary situation my son was in and walked me through it and today he got it out. Numbing gel on the gums and out it came. he didn’t even realize it and all was good. I thanked him and his wife for allowing the call and helping us. I recommend Dr Fishman highly and he cares for the kids and has a great heart.patience.support.and understanding in what we may go through. definitely recommend for your kids!!!

I really love this dental office for my son. I found this place just by googling and thought I’d give it a try. So much better than the office my son previously went to. The prior dental office always found something that my son needed work on. I started to second guess all these procedures he «needed». The last visit the dentist had said he had a cavity and needed it filled. Well I never returned and decided to bring him here. Dr. Fishman saw him and said he had excellent hygiene and had no cavities! The office is very nice and clean, and everyone from the front desk to the dentist were super nice and professional. I will definitely continue to bring him back here.

Place is well decorated and well maintained. Staff is very curteous and friendly. I did wait 30 mins after my appointment to be seen, but the doctor spends quality time with you. They are extremely friendly with children.
Update: so this place is expensive and they try to charge u for things not needed (cash, stating that insurance won’t cover). For example to do fills on teeth that do not need them because they’re baby teeth and will fall out regardless. Plus over a lot of money for the doctor to bring in a specialist to put your child to sleep for the procedure. That was a red flag so I took my soon elsewhere.

I found this place on Unilocal.And I’m so glad I did. This was my son’s first dentist visit. The staff was very friendly and professional. The office is very clean and I love the play area for the kids. Dr. Fishman was so patient and kind to my son. I can tell he made my son feel at easy. Overall I would highly recommend this place to any parent who is looking for a pediatric dentist. Thank you again Dr. Fishman and staff.

I took my 1 year old for his first check up and I’m so glad I took him here! Brand new clean environment, very friendly staff, clear spoken English, and very patient with my son. He’s my first baby so I’m very protective taking him new places and was relieved about finding a great dentist for him. I love the little wait area with the tv where the seats are placed a little higher up so the parents can watch their babies play. The goodie bag made my son super happy when he was done. He kept smiling like he was having a great time here. I’ll recommend this place to other parents!

Scott Fishman is great! Always a pleasure to talk too and most importantly, takes care of my kids like they are his own. Do I trust him, absolutely! and trust is not something I take for granted!
My 7 yr. old son just had 5 teeth pulled, and as always Dr. Fishman did a fantastic job communicating why it needed to happen, allowed me to ask questions without being rushed and showed me before and after pics of other similar patients. In addition, he walked me through the steps again just before the procedure, gave me a quick update during, filled me in on the details after and went through the expectations for the rest of the day. He finished up with again giving us the opportunity to ask questions. I called him 3 hours later with a question he had already answered once and answered it again without any ill will. He called us at the end of the day to check on my son and yet again asked us if I had any questions. Yes, this really happened!
You simply cannot get better service then this!!! Do not go anywhere else!!!
BTW…I should of set the stage by telling you that I interviewed (ok drilled) him and the ortho 2 years ago when we were looking for a pediatric dentist. I knew then he was our guy!

My sister in law recommend me this pediatrician dentist and I love the service, and the most important is that my children loves the place too. Very professional, and clean. Excellent service!

I can’t believe I almost forgot to give a review. This place is excellent. I took my son here to get some cavities filled. After dealing with a nightmare from the pediatric dentist I took him to prior to this trip, I was very nervous about our visit. The staff was extremely friendly. The waiting area was nice, could use more seating maybe but still, really nice. My 8 year old has always gone to my dentist. He has never had cavities till this year. The woman taking his X-​rays was super nice. She made him feel comfortable and joked with him. The dentist was nice as well. He fully explained the procedure and time it takes for everything. We made our appt for the fillings a couple days later. They give him a flavored shot of medication that basically sedates him. The only thing the dentist did wrong was give my son the strawberry flavor instead of the chocolate flavor (either way, I’m sure it would’ve been gross lol) It wasn’t supposed to put him to sleep but it did. Score!!! A short while later, they had us bring him in so they could strap him down and started working. The dental assistant noticed I was nervous and checked in with me every few minutes. He slept the whole time. After everything was done, they explained to us exactly what they did just to go over it again. Fillings were beautiful.
I was extremely pleased with the service we got here. My son wasn’t traumatized and nether was I. I would gladly recommend this dental office.

Dr Fishman, was referring by family. I am very lucky that we found Dr Fishman. He is very friendly and made me feel like my baby was in his hands and he would take great care of her. Which he did! Great Office and staff. Will be back! Thank you Dr.

The best place for your little ones, I was also referred here by my general dentist and it was one of the best dentists I have taken my kids to. You know it is good when your kids don’t want to leave. From my 12 year old to my 2 years old, there was entertainment to sustain them the entire time, the staff is wonderful and gentle and the Dr is amazing. They have made the dreaded dentist experience into an extremely pleasant one. We found a home, and we are here to stay, I would recommend this dental office to anyone with children you will leave satisfied. Oh and the wait time? Piece of Cake! In and out in 1 ½ hours with three happy kids this = a very happy mommy!

Over all excellent!!! This was my 5 yr old sons first time at any dentist and it was a great experience. Wait time in the lobby was about 10min. The xray tech was very friendly and sweet, after the x-​rays she walks you to the waiting room for the Dr. And he came in very quickly in about 2 min he was analyzing my sons x-​rays with me. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He made sure to answer all my questions, and gave me a run down of what to possibly expect for my sons teeth in the future. His assistant then performes cleaning, it took her about 10 min and that was it. Total time for x-​ray and cleaning about 45 min. I highly recommend Dr.Fishman.

Took my little one today for her first visit. It wasn’t packed (today’s a Thursday). My daughter loved this place! The staff were very nice. The Dr. was great. Since my daughter’s teeth are good, he praised us both for her awesome teeth. The visit was nice overall, she got X-​rays and a cleaning as well. There was a screaming child somewhere in there and they bumped up the music to mute the yelling. It worked. The kids didn’t notice. I would definitely recommend bringing your kids here. Hopefully all her visits go this well. At the end they gave her a treat bag. My little one was happy!

This place is awesome.

I was referred here by my general dentist because I have 2 little ones (5 years old). The first thing I did was looked at the Unilocal reviews and that convinced me. I called and spoke to Jacky she was very nice and although we had a few issues with my insurance she was very patient and helpful over the phone. I scheduled an appointment for my 2 sons. The day I went in the ladies in the front were awsome. Jacky, Irma and Noha. They answered all my questions. Especially when I had concerns about xrays for my children.
The wait time was very reasonable.
Unfortunately I do not remember the person who assisted with the xrays but she was very nice, sweet, gentle and very patient, she really made the boys feel comfortable.
When it was time to see the Dr. She was great. She was very nice and made the boys comfortable. She answered all my questions and let me say I had many. Finally my son got his teeth cleaned by Maricela who was great with him. I would highly recommend this place. They are great with kids. This was my first time and it was a great experience. My son needs to get a cavity filled and the Dr. Explained the process. Safe to say we will be back soon for his filling.

I have been bringing my two children to Dr. Fishman since they we’re both infants. Now my kids are 15 & 12 years old. The staff is Amazing and Dr Fishman is just an Angel. He truly cares for his patients, and us parents. He explains everything very well we’re I was able to understand. My kids won’t go with any other Dentist, even after they relocated. Honestly It did make it more difficult for me bc of the distance, but my kids have built a trust & relationship w/​Dr. Fishman & Dr Gibson. I couldn’t take that away from them. Thank you Dr. Fishman for all you do! You take Pride in your job & it shows
My kids now see Dr. Gibson the orthodontist, he is a wonderful sweet doctor, he explains everything to the T. Braces don’t run in my family so I was clueless, but Dr Gibson explained the entire process & until now I’m very pleased. Thank you Dr Gibson for all your knowledge & help with my Anthony & Alexandra G.

We just came from our «belated» visit for the kids. we had an emergency trip overseas so we had to skip the 6 month checkup (right before we left).sorry Dr. Fishman. and then we forgot when we got back. for some reason I thought we went. so needless to say, it was almost a year since their last check-​up.:(
My kids tend to get this gradual brownish tinge on their teeth, but the staff at Dr. Fishman always does a great job with removing it. it’s all about the pumice. lol
BUT, we came back last week and all was still well, except that my little one will need to get braces (but we kinda’ knew that already from previous discussions with Dr. F).good thing is that we got to meet Dr. Gibson, Orthodontist, and he gave us the 411. Dr. Gibson is a really nice guy and takes his time in explaining everything in detail and his recommendations. He is more reserved than Dr. Fishman, but just as sincere.
What I really enjoy about going to Dr. Fishman is that everyone is happy and the staff are so friendly everytime. Their office is awesome and I don’t even want to leave the big screen /​XBOX room. fun place. My son is getting older, and Dr. F let him know that his brushing skills need to improve. thanks Dr. Fishman.
Driving tip: The only entrance is northbound on Paramount Blvd. otherwise, you will have to make a left on Florence (if you are southbound on Paramount), and then make a u-​turn on Florence to bring yourself around — I always forget… arg
