Yogurtland Downey Gateway

So clean. I love this place… Parking is a bit crazy but good customer service! They added new flavored but my go to flavor has always been PLAIN.

Came yesterday night around 9pm. There were two guys working there and they were more concerned with hitting on the female customers than doing their job. One of the guys was working the register and the other one was busy sitting down & talking with two female customers. Three of the frozen yogurt machines were out of yogurt probably because of these two clowns not doing their job. I was very disappointed. They were both unwelcoming and looked lost. I won’t be going back any time soon.

more than 4 bins were empty and so were the yogurts. everything was super dirty too. the two employees there last night were chit-​chating w each other, instead of cleaning or restocking new fruit or bins.

First time to have this delectable treat.
This is the Subway of yogurt. Meaning you get to pick what you want. I see it as a smart move… less complaints this way.
I could list the toppings and the flavors but, that could take a while (and my yogurt is melting). Trust me. Look at the pictures.

First time at this location and it was clean and they had very nice service. I live so close and didn’t realize that it was even there. I went strictly for the freebie !!! How could you not want an oversized spoon !!! Loved it !!!

What’s bad about frozen yogurt with endless flavors & endless toppings, absolutely nothing.
Pistachio, rocket Popsicle flavor, coconut, tart & mango w/​gummies, mango, pineapple, strawberries & cough dough, sprinkles, gummy bears & brownies is my choice. What’s yours?
Super friendly staff. Girl was helpful, esp bc my daughter stuck her hands in the captain crunch & contaminated the whole bowl :@ ! But she was happy to fix it, since she says it happens all the time. 3 yogurts for about 10 $. Not bad. It yogurt but taste good.
Clean & good service. I always get lucky with no lines.

Good flavors and good customer service. I like that it’s so close to everything. Always clean and never full where I have to wait for a long time.

What can be said that hasn’t already been said about this place… Nothing really.
Their yogurt is delicious and the variety of toppings are great. The fruit is always fresh.
The majority of the time the place is kept clean and the employees are very friendly.
Don’t forget to check in, you’ll get a huge spoon, it’s actually pretty cool! haha.

Tables were clean. Got packed real quick. Service was okay. Great yogurt, better company. Oh yeah, BTW, Thanks for the big spoon.

I really wanted to like this Yogurtland because of the area and other establishments nearby.
The good: store was clean and service was friendly
The bad: no chocolate (out of device)
the red velvet came out watery
The ugly: the one large family in there taking up space and their kid doing twirls when you are trying to get in the front door. I didn’t see anyone of them with yogurt and they didn’t mind standing in front of the water/​napkins or just in the way period.
The place isn’t huge so if you have a party of 8 you are going to have other customers bumping into you.
The stars are simply for the service and I doubt I’ll be back to this location. Lakewood location seems to run better.

Jose and Breanna are the best! Great customer service; place is nice and cool and clean. Always free water and plenty of sample cups upon request. Many flavors and cute cups with designs! Don’t forget to check in, you get a free giant spoon!!!

I had a great experience at this Yogurtland! My favorite flavor is green tea its the best! The worker breanna was so friendly and was happy to help us decide what toppings to put on our yogurt. She even gave us a rewards card! Ill make sure to come back more often!

I’m surprised no one made a review for this place yet. This place was okay. Needs major assistance in the cleaning department and customer service area. Many of the machines were broken and messy.

I love this yogurtland! The employees are all really chill and fast with the service! And the place is really clean!
My favorite flavor is Matcha Green Tea. I reccomend it to anyone who loves to drink Tea aswell. The topping bar is always clean too!
The rewards card at yogurtland is a deal you cannot miss! Rack them points up and get free ounces on the next purchase!

Best FroYo place I’ve ever been to! Great selection of frozen yogurt flavors and the topping bar is always maintained fully stocked and fresh! If you want banana slices in your cup, just ask one of the workers — they’ll slice it right in front of you. Workers are very friendly and passionate about what they do. They even asked me if I wanted sample cups as soon as I walked in the store. Great job guys! Will be coming back for more.

Food: full of flavor and texture.
Mango and Pistachio are my favorite.

I’ve been here a couple times with the kiddos and they are happy there is finally a Yogurtland in Downey. It is conveniently located in the Downey Gateway Center on the corner of Downey Ave and Firestone Blvd.
They have your typical flavors like Dutch Chocolate and Vanilla Bean for my picky girls and some of my favorites like Pistachio and Salted Caramel. Their toppings are always kept fresh and stocked which is always a plus. They also have tables inside and out, or if you want you can grab a seat by the fountain.
The staff is always super friendly and the last time we came we were given coupons for free 3 oz. due to some of the flavors not being ready at opening (we were early birds).
Don’t forget to get their app or sign up online and earn free fro-​yo.

Froyo has been so good for my body & our unborn (second-​on-​the-​way) child, so I have attempted to try the various places surrounding Downey.
Yogurtland, at least this one, gets 4 stars mainly because it’s clean (it’s still practically brand new) and it’s in a nice location in the newish yet somewhat controversial (mainly to the locals) Downey Gateway.
The parking lot behind this area pretty much sucks in my opinion because jackwagons don’t park between the lines or you’ll see SUVs tryin’ to fit in compact spots. As if Firestone Blvd wasn’t FUBAR’d enough already with construction & impatient drivers…
So the place is clean.
Employees are nice but not particularly attentive or helpful. I wish they’d clean the tables and chairs outside like every hour. Maybe try to get rid of the pesky pissants.
Speaking of seating, there really isn’t much inside, however, the outside area is usually not all that crowded on a Monday evening (we went at about 6 pm on 7÷21÷14).
I wanted to try the limited time only Cosmo Sorbet, but they were out. At the time, no employees were in sight for me to whine to at that moment so I filled up with Salted Caramel Pecan for me and some Strawberry and Mango for our 1-​year-​old. My hubby concocted something to do with Peanut Butter and a few other yogurt flavors since he was bummed they didn’t have (or anything like) Reese’s peanut butter cups. They keep the peanuts in a separate container by the register because «some may have allergies…»
Overall, it was flavorful, not watered down as one other reviewer insinuated. Also, I don’t always like the fruit selection at other places, but the strawberries were nice here!
Onto the next froyo adventure…

Well let me start of by saying this yogurt land has some nice little tables out side with shade so you can relax and enjoy some fresh air with your cold delicious mango yogurt or what ever you enjoy i was first introduced to this Gem by my little nephew a few years ago he begged me to take him and who can say no to a little kid well i sure as hell cant this is my 3^rd time coming to this location its really clean the service is good you can always find parking which is nice it does get a little crowded but the line moves quick its a decent price 2 yogurts for $ 8.50 something we will be back here when ever in the mood for a healthier alternative for ice cream or its hot like its been these past few weeks

What good things can I say about yogurtland that haven’t been said?
It’s a great spot because its located in the heart of Downey, basically where everything is at.
As for the yogurt itself, I think yogurtland is better than any of the smaller yogurt places. They’ve got a variety of flavors and toppings which all taste very well and are always fresh.
There’s just two other places I put above yogurtland; reason why I won’t rate it above 4 stars.
Note to all readers: just go with plain tart, top it off with some fresh fruit and a few other things you may like, trust, you can’t go wrong.
