The pizza & wings (which is what we typically always get) are good. The prices tho… are a bit high. My bf wanted extra cheese on our medium pizza & it was $ 2.00 more! There is one guy that works there a lot that is not friendly at all! We were deciding if we wanted a 2 liter soda or a just a can & he says «I decided for you» as he rang in the 2 liter. There was no one else in the store so it wasn’t like we were holding him up. I would go there again if it was a last resort because the food is decent, but I will never go out of my way to go there.

Caln easily has the best pizza in Downingtown. We’ve yet to find anything here that we didn’t enjoy; and we’ve only just scratched the surface.
The boneless buffalo bites are awesome, Italian Hoagie is 2^nd best in the area and, as stated, the pizza is second to none. You really can’t go wrong with Caln!

Only ever ordered pizza and cheesesteaks from Caln Pizza. Eveytime I’ve ordered food from there though its been fantastic. Their pizza reminds of the same pizzas I can get up in northern New Jesey and Caln is the only pizza place that comes so close to replicating those same pies I grew up eating with my family. The cheesesteaks have the perfect ratio of bread/​meat/​Cheese/​fried onion/​mushroom (how I order mine at least). The staff there are also always pleasent and helpful. Do wish they delivered but at least I only live a mile away from Caln Pizza. Absolutely recommend Caln Pizza

Im very picky when it comes to pizza and Caln Pizza is excellent and one of the best in the Downingtown-​Coatesville area. Ask for it a little more well done than normal and it will turn out even more perfect.

Living in Pittsburgh it is hard to get a good pizza and I love visiting and ordering the Sicilian pizza-​it is the best with lots of cheese and delicious thick crust! A large is enough to serve 5 – 6 people with leftovers. Call ahead to put your order in as it can often take some time. The regular pizza is also delicious with a variety of toppings to choose from. The prices are a little more than your typical pizza place but it is def. worth the money!

We have been going to caln for many years to pick up a quick pizza on nights when we have a busy family night. The pizza and other food is good… and truly no different from any other pizza joint in a 5 mile radius. We went because it was close. Our biggest complaint has always been no matter how early you order the pizza… you have to wait about 10 min. Tonight the lack of customer service with the «ordering issues» was the nail in the coffin. I called at 4:30 order 1 pizza they gave me my order number. My husband on his way home from work stopped to pick up the order. He gave them the order #. And in turn they asked… what did you order… he told them he was not sure since his wife ordered… but here is my order number. They told him to go call. He called I told him one pizza order #7… He went back told them…½ cheese ½ pep pizza order #7 and he asked why do you have numbers if you don’t use them… and he said… wait for it…” Why do you not know what your picking up” too many other pizza spots (4 within a few mins) to deal with an attitude.

Love the wings. They’re the only place who actually cook them very well done like I ask for.

Very consistent. Excellent food. Family owned and operated. Love the club sandwich, fries, garlic knots, all the fresh sauces, freshly made cannoli and pretty much everything they make!

Great good and super friendly service. From the first time I walked in the door I felt like I was walking into a friends house for dinner. Years later I still get the same feeling. The food is fantastic and service is outstanding. I would highly recommend.

stopped in on Sunday for a bite to eat, they have freshened up the interior and it really looks good, added new electronic menu boards, welcome to the new centery lol. Had a antipasto salad with grilled chicken and Joey had a cheese steak… both very good and satisfing. The staff are both accomidating and friendly alwasys feel welcomed. the rest rooms are always clean (thank you). We stop in very often and never had a bad meal. Chicken parm sandwich is great.

We moved down here from the Poconos and Caln Pizza served us dinner many nights! The family run business knows your face if you’re a regular! The food is fresh and delicious.
The only reason why I gave them 4 stars is because their call in ordering, although it’s always going to be ready in 15 mins, you can arrive there 20 minutes and still have to wait 15 minutes before your order is ready, but good food takes time to cook!

Great cheesesteak and everything in the store smelled so good. I was sorely disappointed at Pat’s cheesesteak so I was happy that I tried this one first. So tasty! Their cheese pizza was good too. It was busy on a Friday night and for good reason!

Like pizza? But sometimes want an authentic Italian dish? Then run, don’t walk, to Caln Pizza. I grew up in North Jersey, just outside New York. I went to school in the Trenton area, famous for its Chambersburg Italian Restaurant Row. I know pizza. And this is some of the best around — especially in the ‘burbs. Caln Pizza could hold its own in a city; it’s a suburban standout.
The pizza selections run from a nice, thin Neapolitan to traditionally thick and tasty Sicilian and tomato pie. Toppings are diverse and delicious — basically, you name it, the guys at Caln Pizza will make it. The comfortable shop in Caln Village Shopping Center offers other must-​have casual fare: strombolis, calzones, cheesesteaks, hoagies, char-​broiled sandwiches, etc.
What sets Caln Pizza apart are the specials. The co-​owner and head chef makes pretty much everything from scratch, right down to the sauce (gravy, if you’re from the old country). A secret sauce, I might add … I’m on a first-​name basis, and I can’t wiggle the ingredients out of him! Homemade is the rule at Caln Pizza. This means seafood, chicken, beef, veal and other not-​so-​pizza-​shop entrees are out of this world. I have to say it … it’s like mamma and nana used to make!
My favorite quick meal: tomato pie thick slice, regular slice and a small salad.
My husband’s favorite quick meal: the daily special. Seriously. He gets it almost every time!
I highly recommend this friendly place for a yummy bite to eat.
