All I can say is this gas station sucks from the owner and the manager the gas pumps never work you can’t pay outside you always see everyone driving around with their gas cap open trying to find a pump they can pay at so usually you’re running in and out of the gas station just trying to start and their safety shut-off on the gas pumps do not work faulty my husband got gas there we are loyal customers that visit every day and he had issue with the gas shut off and trying to pay ruined a $ 65 pair of shoes I just bought him had to pay for the gas that was ran on the ground that the attendant did not shut off and also had to have the carpets cleaned in my car from the gas on his shoes and nothing was done about it and now my husband and myself are barred from the gas station ~no joke and the only reason I gave it one star it’s because you have to to post this as many people that this has happened to and nothing ever done about it I think that someone should be contacting the EPA about this, I have contacted BP officials today.

In a word, janky. SUPERSLOWPUMP! After about 3 minutes we still had less than one gallon of gas! Restroom was dirty, too.

My wife and I drive through Downs, IL on the way to and from Champaign about twice a month. There have been several times that I could have used some fuel when I get there. Unfortunately this gas station is the biggest rip-off on the planet. It doesn’t matter what the price is in Bloomington, the Downs BP is always fifteen to twenty cents higher on price per gallon. The people that work there are friendly, but I am outraged that the owner’s of this station feel the need to rip-off those that live in there small town. Usually small town’s offer fairly competitive, if not cheaper pricing than large cities. This establishment has a location right off interstate 74, and should have no problem offering competitive prices. I have been monitoring there prices for a long time, and they are ALWAYS way too high. Do yourself a favor and do not fill up there again until they start operating their business more competitively.
