Myofascial Release
Every cell, every organ, every fiber of our being has fascia. It exists without a start or an end and is present in many intricate layers throughout or body. Fascia is naturally relaxed and elastic, a state that assists in fluid movement and cellular communication. However, when our bodies are put under duress, trauma, injuries, and inflammations the ‘glue’ of fascia becomes shortened and stiff. This constricts the fascia and makes proper function painful, difficult, and inefficient. Myofascial Release is a technique specifically designed to address this issue.
Scar Release
The body has stories to tell! And those stories are nestled in our fascia. They hold memories of pain, fear, and trauma that physically affects the health of the body. Through our lifetimes our fascia encounters stress which causes it to twist and become constricted, and we sometimes unknowingly carry with us this trauma at a cellular level. Through an effect known as the piezoelectric effect that creates electricity when pressure is applied, a Myofascial Release therapist can non-forceably prompt the fascia to ‘unwind’ and stretch out once more. The fascia and the cells it encompasses are finally free again! The body is designed to heal itself, and by applying Myofascial Release techniques it is able to. The healing fluids of the body can once again nourish the cells and perform the work that no amount of prescription medicine will ever be able to do.

Business Owner
I have always loved working one on one with people. So much in fact that my career began as a nurse after I graduated nursing school with the Board of Cooperative Education Services, New York in 1976. However thirteen years ago I was partially paralyzed, and I was introduced to the healing powers of massage therapy, homeopathy, and acupuncture. The doctors said I would never be able to regain control of my neck, but through these therapies I was able to heal dramatically and I no longer have any issues with my neck or paralysis. Massage therapy had played such a critical part in changing my life and I was quite interested in learning more about it. In 2001 I started a two year program at the Professional School of Massage in Langhorne, PA. From 2002 until present day, I have taken 11 Advanced Myofascial Release courses. Each course is simply amazing, and through them I have experienced and witnessed the profound results of this therapy time after time.
