Ms. Cavella graduated summa cum laude from California State University, Long Beach in 1989 with a Bachelor of Music in cello performance. She continued her education at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where she focused on trademark, copyright and corporate law. After earning her Juris Doctor degree in 1992 she was admitted to the California State Bar and opened her own practice in Century City, California, where she focused on trademark, copyright and entertainment matters. In 2007 Ms. Cavella moved to Philadelphia and began working with a seasoned patent attorney in his intellectual property practice in Doylestown, PA. In 2008 she was admitted to the Pennsylvania State Bar and joined his firm as managing partner. In 2012, Ms. Cavella founded IP Works, PLLC. Ms. Cavella is an active member of the Women in Business Committee of the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce
