History

Established in 2006.

John D. Bentrim Consulting has it’s roots from Buckingham Computers, which was started in 1984. From that small two man operation, Buckingham grew to over a dozen employees, covering the entire realm of personal computers. In April of 2006, the business was sold to a different computer firm. Instead of following into the new management, John D. Bentrim decided to embark on his own.

This was when John D. Bentrim Consulting was established and we never looked back. Our independence allows for focused, close customer relationships. Less than a year later, Alex Bentrim joined on with John. He has been assisting John as well as growing the business ever since.

After graduating from Penn State University in 1975 with a BS in Business Management, John D. Bentrim noticed the microcomputer industry begin to take off. Seeing the revolutionary potential machines like the IBM pc with DOS 1.0, John began an over-​30-​year career as a computer consultant.
