Sam’s Pizza & Heroes

We moved to Doylestown a little over a year ago. Typically we like hometown restaurants better than the chains. We will never be ordering from sam’s pizza again. We have ordered from them about 5 times. Every time it has taken over an hour to get our pizza. It has also typically been cold when we did receive the right items. Last night was the final straw. It took over 2 hours to receive our pizzas. They were cold when we did receive them after calling twice. The manager was the person who delivered the pizzas and when he got to our door he dropped the pizza on the ground. He told my husband the pizzas would only be $ 24 because it took so long and they were dropped on the ground but still charged us $ 39.98. I changed the name of the contact in my phone to «do not order». Awful. I called the shop later to talk to the manager and he wasn’t there so I left my number and they never called back.

Excellent pizza! Good home town atmosphere. Loved the pizza bar for lunch, at an amazingly fair price.
