I only write a review when a restaurant exceeds my expectations… and this does! Less than 5 minutes from my house, we’ve lived here for a year and only started going recently. Shame on us! The bartenders and staff are SO nice. Everything we have tried so far has been stellar, and they are so willing to accommodate you with anything if they can! We have tried the fish and chips, the chicken parm, the salads, the mozzarella sticks, a chef specialty chicken pasta with veggies, fish tacos, steak bomb, and EVERYTHING has been fantastic. The fries are out of this world! I had the chicken parm last night and I can’t wait to go back and get it again… that’s how good it was. Also, they make a mai tai better than any Chinese restaurant out there. It’s not the Ritz inside, but the cozy fireplaces and cute bar are perfect for a quick bite with the hubby. This is going to be our new staple hang out!

Good for quick one after work. Decent food, they have good cornbeef dinner on St. Patty’s Day.

Felt like we were bothering the bartender when we ordered a drink… she was too busy entertaining her friends rather than the patrons.

First to review Coyle’s. Nice. I only go here on Friday, but I go here just about every Friday, which makes my review a bit biased. This place is borderline my Cheers, everybody knows your name. The prices aren’t so bad, but you are out of Boston, so it should be cheaper. Corey and Bobbo are the bartenders that are typically on Friday nights, they can be counted on to make you some pretty interesting and fairly tasty shots or drinks if you can’t think of anything. Also, Corey’s poured me a few perfect pints of Guiness, complete with the shamrock. These two bartenders aren’t nazis with the juke. You pick a song, they won’t skip unless it’s by popular demand at the bar. And they’ll turn the music up at your request. All in all, a nice little hole in the wall bar to meet up with people that went to Methuen High and won’t brave the dangers of Lawrence to go to the Claddaugh.
