Specialties
We specialize in warm, emotional family portraits. Created by Craftsman Photographer, Dan Rodrigue, they showcase the love of family all during the children’s growing years. Do you love the realism of color or the classic Black and White that never dates the image?
For over 30 yrs we’ve been selected by high school graduating seniors to create fun, fresh yet edgy photos for them to use as gifts, yearbooks and profile images on Facebook.
Our children’s photography touches the heart and becomes your most cherished portraits hanging in your home. Ask about our «Baby’s First Year» collage.
Other styles of portraits created for you may be fashion/model, boudoir, maternity, business portrait, character study, figure study or possibly a portrait of you for your children at our location or your special place.
Call and come in to see our gallery of portraits created for families just like yours.
As one client so nicely said «You didn’t just take our picture, you created an heirloom»!
History
Established in 1982.
Dan and Lorraine Rodrigue opened Studio1 Photography in their home in Dresden, Maine. Today the studio has grown to over 1,200 square feet. Approximately 1.5 acres of manicured gardens line the banks of the Eastern River.
Having operated 2 studio locations (Portland & Dresden) for 18 years, we now have come back to our roots in Dresden. We still do location photography and events throughout the eastern United States.
In 1995 in Chicago, Illinois, Dan was presented the prestigious Photographic Craftsman Degree. Only four other photographers in Maine have received this degree. He is one of three Maine recipients of the National Award from the Professional Photographers Assoc. of New England.
Dan served as President of both the Maine Professional Photographers Association and the Professional Photographers Assn of New England. He is also a member of PPA.
