Weekday preschool with extended day care options for children ages 13 months through 5 years. We are fully licensed by the state and accredited by Keystone STARS, proudly holding a 3-​star rating. Small class size, spacious classrooms, experienced teachers and excellent, age appropriate curriculum set us apart as an outstanding community childcare center. We have been serving children and families in the northern Philadelphia suburbs for over 40 years.

History

Established in 1972.

Our Center was begun by Chelten Baptist Church of Dresher as a service to families from the church and the surrounding community. Over 40 years we have grown from two small nursery school classes to 120+ students in 10 classes, including a Toddler Program and School Age Summer Camp.

Meet the Manager

Pam P.

Manager

Pam Post holds a BS degree in Education from Gordon College and holds certification from the Commonwealth of PA. Pam began teaching at Chelten Child Development Center in 1995. In 2003, she moved into the role of assistant director and was instrumental in establishing Camp Jubilee. After receiving her director’s certificate from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 2008, Pam’s roles have continuously expanded. In 2012 she became Director where she spends much of her time coaching staff, developing curriculum and providing support to parents and staff in innumerable ways.
