Five stars is really not enough to compliment Anthony D’Angelo and the staff who handled my husband’s surprise party this Saturday! They were extremely helpful with making sure he was surprised. The staff were wonderful and they room, food and décor were more than anyone could ask for.
Kudos to Drexelbrook for providing exceptional service for a very special moment.

Good, local venue for weddings and banquets. Had a friend’s wedding there and it was very well done.

My daughter had her senior prom there for upper Darby. Service was poor and chicken was raw. Mac and cheese was watery overall she had a very poor experience. It was like they know it’s kids and they know the proms are locked in so who cares. Nothing she can do the money is lost all we can do is let others know be careful. Second star is because upper Darby needs to hold Drexelbrook accountable maybe they don’t.

Went here for Mother’s Day brunch, basically a buffet style thing. Everything was low grade, Aramark/​Sysco, frozen type, cafeteria food. Literally not one cooked food item was good. The fruit wasn’t even ripe, the made to order pasta bar was lacking flavor, coffee was burnt, and being vegan, THAT was all I could eat. Everything cooked in butter and grease, blech! Heard complaints from everyone else at my table, meat eaters and all. And they have the nerve to charge $ 30 for that. Ugggh.

One of Delaware County’s largest venues. I have been here for many corporate events as well as a wedding. For banquet food, the quality is better than average. The place was renovated more than a decade ago and generally the spaces are in good shape. Service is systematized and is by white gloved waiters and waitresses with ear buds in their ears.
There is a large parking lot but only one small exit into the Drexelbrook apartment complex. They used to open the back entrance but they have taken to locking it, so exiting can take some time if the event is big and everyone is leaving at the same time. Restrooms are large, well-​appointed, and clean.
It’s the favorite choice of venue for some. When George W. Bush came to Delaware County, he spoke here.

Hidden away in Drexel Hill is this amazing wedding or corporate event venue. Many of these types of places are near major roads. These folks are tucked away in the middle of a residential neighborhood. If you’re letting your GPS do its thing you may think it has lost its mind but stick with it. You’ll eventually get to the private drive where you check in with the attendant.
I belong to an organization that rotates its monthly dinner meeting between many places in the Delaware Valley area. I’ve been here several times. Most members of my group are seasoned business men and women who have attended dozens if not hundreds of these types of meetings. They do not impress easily. Every time we visit both myself and my fellow attendees are extremely pleased.
Our meal is usually what I would call and American buffet. These folks really have their act together. The salads are always extremely fresh. The vegetables are never over cooked. The meats and fish are always moist and well-​seasoned. When you listen to the comments of these jaded businesspeople, over and over again you’ll hear something like; «Damn this place is good!»
Of course, in addition to the cuisine, there are other aspects to a great meeting venue. The staff here has always been friendly and competent. The meeting rooms are beautiful and well maintained. Finally they have all the technology you could need to run a great meeting.
I have listened to many folks talk about attending fantastic weddings here. Although I can’t speak to that personally I can say that I would highly recommend them for corporate events.

My fiancé and I went here for a wedding last September. Drexelbrook is located in the vicinity of the Drexelbrook apartments in Drexel Hill, just outside of Phillly. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the inside is gorgeous. There’s valet parking, but if you prefer to self-​park, that’s available as well. The entrance leads to a long, wide, elegantly decorated room. There was a bar set up in front of large doors leading to the main ballroom. The cocktail hour was held in this long room. Several white gloved servers walked around with savory hors d’oeuvres. Yummy! They were very friendly and greeted us with a smile and an appetizer. During the cocktail hour, there was a slideshow on the flat panel tv showing special moments of the bride and groom. The bathroom was very clean and elegant.
When it was dinner time, we were ushered into the large ballroom. Though the ballroom was a big space, it still felt intimate. The dance floor was located towards the front of the room and the deejay booth. There were several round table for the guests and one long table in the front of the room for the bridal party. Such a beautiful, elegant space!
Dinner was lovely; each course was carefully prepared and arranged nicely on the plate. The servers were friendly and knowledgable. The portions were huge and since I didn’t finish my entrée, they gave me a «to go» box. That’s always a plus for me! For dessert, there was wedding cake and an ice cream sundae bar! Amazing! I spent most of the evening dancing away. Everyone had a great time, especially the bride and groom.
This is a lovely place to have a wedding or special event. I am not sure about pricing or any of that but, there’s great food and service, beautiful, elegant décor, and they allow outside vendors on their premises. It’s not as «cookie cutter» as most banquet halls.

We were VERY pleased with our wedding here. Couldn’t have imagined a better venue, with better service, and food. They made our every request happen.

I’ve been here for a couple of events now — our faculty end-​of-​the-​year luncheon and a training seminar this week. I have been pleased with the facilities — the room we are training in has beautiful chandeliers hanging from the ceilings and a low, comfortable light. Whoever controls the temperature has a bit of a heavy hand when it comes to the AC!
The food has also been really great! You wouldn’t expect such a spread when coming to a three day training session, but they have provided a beautiful continental breakfast (bagels, muffins, yogurt, fruit, danish, coffee, OJ, tea) every morning, a three course lunch (including dessert) and an afternoon snack (see my picture). The staff is also very friendly.

Looking for a venue for that special occasion? Drexelbrook Corporate Events Center is a hidden jewel of Delaware County. In 2000, I attended a bridal shower for a cousin at Drexelbrook. At that time, I was thinking of getting back in the workforce after 17 years of being a stay-​at-​home mom.
I was impressed by the facility itself b/​c it had recently undergone expansion. The food was delicious and unlike anything else I had ever experienced from a caterer. The service was first rate and waitstaff are trained to anticipate any request.
Long story short, I applied for a position in their kitchen and have been on staff since September, 2000. Now, you might think that I have ulterior motives in writing this review, but actually I’m just bragging.
The Drexelbrook is the best of its kind in Delaware County.
