Upper Darby School District

I spent all 12 years of schooling in this school district. Going to high school though, makes this review only have 2 stars.
First of all, Upper Darby High School has WAY too many kids in it. 4000 kids is too large! How are kids suppose to receive one-​on-​one classroom attention? Second, this school district is too strict about the testing. Granted, it is not their fault. However, they put so much pressure on us to excel in these tests and it made us not want to do well. Third, they got rid of the music program. ARE YOU SERIOUS?! I grew up in the music program. Some of the best teachers in this school district are music teachers. Apparently, the school district doesn’t have the funds. Conveniently though, they have the funds for the sports teams. Again, very convenient.
I could go on but I digress. I don’t want my future children entering into this school district.
I do have to add that this school district does give kids the ability to do things that others’ don’t. They have many programs, such as engineering and cosmetology. They have the option for kids to take classes for college credits. For me though, the bad outweighs the good.
