Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Ordered spicy catfish fillet and when I cut into it, it was not fully cooked. The waitress, Michelle, quickly took care of the issue and got me a fresh, hot, and fully cooked fillet with new and hot sides. The manager, kevin, did come over while I was waiting and asked if I would like a salad or soup while I waited for them to cook my new fillet. After my meal Kevin came back to check on me and was very nice, asked if I needed anything (no I said, it was delicious and thanks for fixing the problem). He told me to have a safe trip and then took my bill away. I told him he didn’t need to do that… his reply. «I want to!»
THAT IS A+++ CUSTOMER SERVICE. THANK YOU TO MY WAITRESS MICHELE AND HER MANAGER KEVIN.
cracker barrels food is always consistent and customer service is always stellar… that’s why I keep coming back!

Ok, so… It’s a Cracker Barrel and one thing I like about this chain is its consistency from town to town, state to state, etc. I will commend this place for it’s consistency on the food. I had the chicken and dumplings platter. My food was all very good and just like I would expect it to be at a Cracker Barrel. Kudos for the food! But My goodness… I’ve never felt so rushed in my life. I was traveling on business so I came by myself. I was seated immediately. I was greeted within seconds by my server and he introduced himself and asked me if I knew what I wanted. Mind you… I had not opened my menu or taken off my jacket at this point… I replied that I had not had a chance to look at my menu but gave him my drink order. He was back with my iced tea in 30 seconds… I got my jacket off this time but still not looked at menu… This went on every minute for 5 minutes. Once I made my food order… I swear it was served in under 3 minutes… And my server asked if everything was ok every minute and 30 seconds like clockwork. My bill was delivered to my table before the butter had a chance to melt on my biscuit… Look, I get turnover… (I was a server once) but I have never felt so rushed, and quite frankly… Uncomfortable at a restaurant in all my life. You might get the volume you are looking for this way… But you won’t get my business. Slow down… Take a breath…

Not busy and our waitress took the order and food came out hot. Started to dig in and the table next to us started to tell the waitress why they couldn’t eat certain foods. Smh always happens to us. Customers get zero stars. Good friendly visit

I’m giving this location 4stars because Of our great experience. My 9 yr old wanted to taste a Fried shrimp since she never had them before and she saw them on the kids menu. Tiffany our server called the manager over for us and after my daughter asked about tasting a shrimp he happily said yes! Rob was super cool when he accommodated my daughters request. It’s hard to find this type of service. Tiffany happily fetched everything we requested and explained how much she liked the new menu items when we ordered them. Thanks to Rob and Tiffany we will stop here again!

Exactly what you’d expect from Cracker Barrel… good comfort food at a good price. For anyone who hasn’t been to Cracker Barrel, if you like traditional «grandma’s» cooking, this is it. Meat Loaf, Baked Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, etc. I had a burger this time and it was excellent! Service is always good as well (I’ve been to Cracker Barrels all over the country and the service is consistently good). Again, a good value so give it a try!

This place is fun to go to. You can peruse the neat items for sale. At Christmas time they have lots of really cool ornaments and gifts. Plus they wrap the gifts for you. Some remind you of years gone by, some smell really good, and some are quite tasty.
My favorite spot to sit is by the fireplace (not beside the screaming child, this went on for 30 minutes).
They have biscuits and gravy, or cornbread and beans, or even chicken and dumplings which is what I had. Reminds me of growing up on the farm. If you want to experience a taste of farmlife, check it out.

It was not the best barrel I’ve been too. Staff was meh. I still stop at these on the road because they are almost always clean, they are safe, and I can stop and eat, pick up snacks or a book on tape when I am taking a bathroom break. If you didn’t know Cracker Barrel rents books on tape. You «buy» one with a deposit, and return it at any Cracker Barrel on down the road. Your rental fee is just a few bucks.

This place is very homey. They give you an option of smoking or nonsmoking section, but even the nonsmoking section is a little smokey. I guess by nonsmoking you just won’t see anyone smoking in front of you. Food wise I liked their chicken dumplings, it is very good.

Great country cooking, awesome clearance section (t-​shirts for $ 8) and a great location right off of the freeway, as usual. They also seem to have a fond appreciation for the holidays as I just visited a few days ago and the Christmas section was packed. Lots of glittery ornaments for cheap prices.
Breakfast is served all day, which is always a plus since I don’t like to eat too early in the morning.
