I am setting up my first restaurant, and needed some used appliances checked out.
I called and spoke to Heather, very polite. She was honest and said that they were very busy. I was in no hurry, so waited for a call back. It came 3 days later, just as she estimated.
Their service tech, Rick, came out and immediately found the problem with both units. Very professional, and thorough. I will definitely use them for all of my appliance service needs.
Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. I can’t afford to have my refrigeration units go down, but most importantly I need a company with multiple service trucks to be available for emergencies.

I called them to get a new gasket glued on my Nemco Steamer and a rude lady told me it round be $ 120 to diagnose the problem and after that if I decide not to go ahead with them they would not even put the appliance back. Also it would take a few days before someone can even look at it and many more days before it can be repaired!!! I m surprised how such a company is still in business.

beware! always check the start and end time during servicing. they will try to over charge you for their labor service.

The team at Cal West Service knows Food Service equipment. In a world where we order parts from the internet and then have to reorder over and over they are a nice reprieve. They were able to come out to the Sports Park and fix the old ice machine in a matter of a few hours… thanks for saving the league the cost of a new machine.

These guys SUCK!
They came to my place to fix an appliance and when I used it, it was still broken. I called them and they came back, charged me AGAIN, and the same thing happened. When I called them the third time, they wanted to charge me for another service call! Forget it. I asked for a refund and they refused. I’m now disputing their charges with my credit card company. When I mentioned my experience with these guys to other restaurant owners who knew of them, they told me that they have a really bad reputation and that I shouldn’t have used them.
