Citibank

One teller with three others sitting around chatting. 10people in line. This is ridiculous.

This location deserves 0 stars. Customer Service is atrocious, with the exception of one teller, Patricia. The management is poorly run. I am in the process of closing my account of over 21 years because of high fees. When it’s all said and done it appears it will take 3 trips to the bank to do so. I find this totally unacceptable. As a former bank operations manager, I expect more from the manager. If you want service, go to the San Ramon office.

I’ve always been a fan of Citibank, so this time is no different. I do all my regular banking here. Their efficient ATM machines are much faster than the tellers inside, so why wait?

I had to deposit rent into my landlord’s account & there are no Citibank branches near Brentwood, except for the DREADED one in Antioch. I decided to try the Livermore location only to find it closed down a week ago!
So this was the next closest branch along 580. I’m so glad I came here, the girls wer3 soooo nice & welcoming toward my dog & I, it was 103 outside, I’ll take the sneers & whispers from idiots that think I should leave my dog in a hot car. But everyone in here was happy to see her & even the other bank customers loved her!
I finally made my deposit, and the teller told me how to consolidate my credit card debt from one of their cards, onto a different card from them. No banks want to do that because why give you 12% and transfer it to themselves to not continue getting 20% anymore? Well, the woman was talking to a desk person about making I hope for me!
I’ll definitely be back to take her up on that offer, she was wonderful & couldn’t have been more helpful! This is a great location where I felt safe at & they go above & beyond to help out!

I used this branch for about a year for business banking. Recently closed. They were not able to do many services that other business banks provide. Their. service was rude and I was told to leave and not return when I informed a customer applying for a new account that she was seen before the two existing costumers with issues.

The service in this location sucks compare to the other different location I’ve visit, even the manager was so dumb I couldn’t get the help I wanted cause he didn’t know very poor manners towards clients I will never visit this location again hope they improve their customer service…

The service was so poor that different from other citibank in different areas Very poor manner toward a client. I will never visit again unless atm machines for an emergency purpose.

Citibank building looks huge. inside is just a few teller’s windows and ½ dozen tables for «associates». only a dozen parking spaces in front of bank.
in and out in 5 minutes. so 3 stars.

Even the bank manager was stupid
I had to use MY own phone to call and get a change. The citi bank person on the phone, asked why i was calling and why dont I go to the bank and have them fax my documents, I said, I was IN the bank. No one wanted to deal with anyone. I was trying to bank for a person who cant. I am glad I dont bank here.
Went to wells fargo for some of the same stuff, they were happy to help me.

Citibank Mortgage Department… SHAME ON YOU!
I am a residential real estate agent representing a long-​time business client of Citibank. My client is an empty nester that wanted to downside so we found them a nice house and were successful in beating out multiple offers.
At the very beginning of the purchase process, I asked my buyers who they were going to use for their new home loan. They quickly replied «Citibank.» I immediately asked them why??? Their answer was they had their other home loans (3), business loans (2), Personal and Business accounts and had their own personal banker… They ensured me it would be no problem… WRONG!
First off, Citibank «Home Loan Specialist» Bernard N. never locked their rate, once he got around to it, the rates had jumped up a bit. Next, Citi’s under writing came back and said my buyers «lied» about their intended use of the new property and moved them into an investment rate mortgage that was much higher than the original loan (15 day into escrow when contingencies were to be removed). The pain kept coming for another 30 days and 5, yes 5 extensions of escrow… Multiple requests for document already sent, no communication, no updates and constant double talk kept us jumping through hoops like circus animals… To add insult to injury, Mr. Home Loan Specialist, tried to take by buyers to another lender 25 days into the escrow! Oh wait a minute guy, you are licensed through Citibank NA’s license and as an employee not legally able to do that! HELLO!
To the end of this miserable experience Citibank treated my buyers like crap, wouldn’t even speak to me and continued to make us jump through hoops… Lucky for us we had no property to sell or another property pending contingent upon this escrow to close or we would have been hosed legally. I could keep going, but I’m sure you get the point, they suck!
So if you are in the market for a home loan, do not use these unethical jerks! Go to a credit union or a reputable firm who values its clients. Citibank don’t worry, the Department of Real Estate will be hearing from me and I look forward to a grievance hearing where you will be able to explain your unethical business practices as well as your employees representing other companies behind your back. Two thumbs way down!

2 tellers, excellent customer service, tons of parking, hardly ever a line, and clean. Small place, but never had any problems here. Always quick service, you just go in and out in a jiffy. I always see the same 2 tellers, and they’re both very friendly. They’ll make small talk while processing your transactions, and with a smile, which is key. Happy with the service, happy with the efficiency.

The parking is easy and it’s in a good location. The bank is clean. Doing your banking, you can get in and out in a short amount of time.

I have had a great experience at this bank since the day I became a customer. More specifically, Mark D. is the business banker whom has creating a strong. successful relationship with me. He is always attentive and takes care of any issues at a moments notice. That is what I call service!

This is a weird bank. I came here to do some business deposits once and it took forever! They have a cash counting machine sitting in the back that they DON’T use. The lady started counting my money by hand and it was taking her a really long time. When I asked her why she doesn’t just use the machine in the back, she said «oh, it’s not reliable.» I just shrugged and thought, «then why do you have it?!» Then on top of that I had to tell her the recipient’s account number and the total cash amount verbally while everyone else could hear because they don’t use deposit slips! What kind of joke bank is this? I just don’t understand. 2 stars because the staff was friendly.

Seriously Unilocal please give me the power to give zero stars to hopeless businesses that don’t deserve a single star like his one!
So to make a long story short, my mother in law opened a bank account because she was moving. Only the jerks in San leandro screwed up her address and tried to send her card to an address she has not lived at in seven years. That has little to do with my problem with Dublin Citibank however it is merely back story to get you up to speed.
We went into Citibank to rectify an already murky situation and to get an address change on the account so my mother in law could begin to pay her bills, since the temporary card they had given her was about to expire and we had still not received a replacement. On a side note the temporary cards have no security codes on the back, so you can’t use them to pay for things over the phone or internet, or even set up any accounts with them, hence the need for a real card.
We waited a few minutes and were greeted by a women I believe her name was Ms. Kieu. She asked how she could help us and was very sweet at first, but once we asked her how someone had messed up the account so badly her demeanour quickly changed.
To put it politely she was rude and told us she could not help us without proof of residence and that we would have to get a bill to get an address change. We explained politely to her that my mother in law had already cancelled her other bank account and that she could not set up any new accounts with her temporary card since it has no security codes.
She began to ignore us and type on her computer as if we were not sitting there across the desk. SO we tried to appeal to her human nature and inform her that if we could not change the cards address and get a new card on time that the PG&E and other accounts, (previously set up with the now cancelled bank card) would be shut down. She continued to ignore us and type away pretending we weren’t there.
We asked if a temporary licence would work as a form of address verification. Then she looked at me begrudgingly, realising I would not leave without and answer and said, «Yes, that would work.» So we went around the corner and spent 30 minutes at the DMV getting a licence address change.
We returned and finally got Citibank to change the address and cancel the card they sent to the wrong address. about a week from now we might get a card for my mother in law. The fact that Citibank makes the DMV seem easy and nice is awful, Please god, never bank here if you have a choice!

I don’t know why everyone is complaining on here because I have multiple great experiences here. I used to be a Chase customer but not only does Citibank not nickle and dime you but they provide great customer service all the time.

One thing about being a teacher is that I have to pay for a lot of my own supplies. However, at the beginning of the school year, I found that it would be best if the students actually bought their notebooks from me. Well, it’s the end of the school year, and I rediscovered my target plastic bag that held all the cash and coins.
I forced myself to go to Citibank to finally deposit all of it. I felt really embarrassed with my dollar bills all binder clipped and my loose change in ziploc bags. I apologized to the teller, but she wasn’t able to hide her frustration with me. Yet, I just tried to keep it all in perspective.
It was a good thing that I did my own accounting prior to coming to the bank. I had to correct the teller 3 different times with her computations.
Don’t mess with a math teacher.

Slow a** service. .. doesn’t matter what time you get here. And if you have a job, you have to take either lunch or time off work because they close at 5 most days, and earlier on other days. People working there do not care either and take their sweet time not helping people. I dont’ know what that one guy is complainign about having to wait 5+ minutes because my experience has been more like 40+ minutes.

So I forgot that my credit card bill was due today and I wound up having to take it down to Citibank in person to pay it. I don’t have a checking or savings account with them… just the credit card. I had to wait in the slowest line in all existence to pay the stupid thing. Then when I finally did get to the front of the line, the lady kept trying to pressure me into opening an account with them. It was over the top annoying. I JUST WANT TO PAY MY BILL!!! blah. She insisted I tell her why I didn’t want to open an account, etc. etc. High pressure sales while trying to just pay a stupid bill?
One star service!!!

Like most banks, you have to wait in line for a long ass time for a teller. I came at 1.15 pm on a Wed thinking they’ll be no one there. Wrong. Two tellers, and I was next… and yet, I had to wait 5+ min. Are you serious? If this wasn’t the closest one to my work, I would not come here. The one in Hayward was definitely faster. The rival B of A for slowest service at a branch…
If they didn’t offer high interest rates on their savings accounts… I’d be outtie.
Oh yeah, they offer ATM services at 7 – 11’s. In case you’re in on a beer run, and you realize you need cash, Citibank is your best friend! Unless you go to Safeway and get cash back when you pay…
