We specialize in modern latin cuisine from all the latin countries. History

Established in 2011.

Omar and Sadaf Etemadi are owners of Oasis Grille in downtown Pleasanton and opened Coco Cabana in February of 2011. It is a sister restaurant to Oasis, but with a modern Latin influence on most of the dishes.

Sadaf is the executive chef of Coco Cabana and Oasis Grille. She has been in the restaurant industry since 2002. She is also the co-​owner of both places. The husband and wife team have created two beautiful restaurants for people in the tri valley area to enjoy.

Love coming here! Ever just feel like getting out on a friday or saturday but a bar sounds too chill and club seems too much? This is exactly where we go for days like that! Nice ambiance, good tapas plates, and strong respected drinks! None of that watered-​down drinks. They know what they’re doing! And! Live music on saturdays! :)) if you’re planning on going to coco Cabana on a Saturday and would like to hear the live music definitely make reservations in advance. Sometimes if there’s not enough reservations they’ll cancel the band. At least that’s what the host told me.
Dress code: definitely a place you could get away with being casual at. But also a place you won’t look off if you decided to really dress up!:)

I’m putting 3 stars because the workers are lacking! When we entered the restaurant the hostesses couldn’t even be bothered to glance our way. My boyfriend and I slowed to tell them we were going to sit at the bar and again they couldn’t care less. We sat at the bar and got decent service, but had to listen to the bartenders talking about other patrons in the restaurant. Not a huge deal, my boyfriend and I just got into our own conversation and moved on. The food is delicious, we absolutely love the crabcakes– burrata is only so-​so. Just an overall feeling of disinterest from the employees.

This is a small hidden gem. I love that they have Happy Hour on Sunday’s & the food is a great value. Nice variety of small plates with great service & good ambiance. I will definitely be back, I live in Vallejo & it was worth the drive.

Not sure if they changed the chef.
But the Cuban Garlic Chicken tastes different from what I had before on my previous visit to this restaurant.
For the price that I paid for that dishes, totally not worth it.
The chicken was dried, not juicy and too spicy.
Would have been better off eating a Costco rotisserie chicken.

Came here with family on New Years for brunch and their small plates are delicious and very unique! We ordered seven to share, including the sliders, lamb pops, and short ribs, among four people and it was very filling. The avocado with shrimp was definitely my favorite and I would definitely go back just for that.

Loved it! We had the Angus sliders and the taco plate. Both were delicious. Mojitos were decent and the house wine was good considering it was «house» wine! We had the lava cake ad the beignets. No complaints on the lava cake, but the powdered sugar beignets and three dipping sauces were beyond fantastic! Claudio was very knowledgeable and sooooo nice!

Ambiance was great, the server was attentive, the food was decent, just not enough flavor though…
Citrus Ceviche had the most flavor, due to the jalapeño.
Garlic Hummus was good, but the pita made it better
Yucca Fritas were okay, but others at the table enjoyed them more.
Artichoke dip was probably my fave — again, it was the pita
There were other dishes, but those were the ones that stood out.
May try again just other things.
Place was clean and surprising elegant inside… I guess the exterior was a little deceiving.

For Dublin, this was a nice place. It’s a bit unassuming in the location it’s in. Pretty inside though, kind of sexy I guess. Came with girlfriends for dinner. Raspberry Moscow mule was okay. I hear the happy hour deals are good.
We ordered several tapas to share. I liked a lot of what we ordered. Ceviche was surprisingly extra spicy. Like everything you eat afterwards will be spicy. Garlic prawns were good but the pieces of toast it sits on gets a bit soaked in oil, making it soggy. Mussels were nice and tender in a flavorful tomato based curry sauce. Might have been my favorite. Lamb lollipops were just right. Jalapeño artichoke dip comes in a relatively small portion with a lot of soft flatbread.
Service wasn’t bad but I also didn’t really notice them. Maybe I was too busy catching up with girlfriends. Either way I had fun and enjoyed it.

My boyfriend and I came during happy hour. It was slow around the time we went so the service was pretty fast. We ordered off of the happy hour menu and we were surprisingly really full. The dishes were delightful! We’re definitely going to come back for dinner.

Generous wine pours. Already a fan.
1. Taco Sampler — A must try. Each taco was great (Shrimp, chicken, pork)
2. Burger w/​duck bacon — Husband (self proclaimed burger connoisseur) really enjoyed his burger, and the duck bacon.
3. Beef nachos (from happy menu) — YUM.
4. Garlic Cuban Chicken — wow, this was really flavorful.
5. Arroz con mariscos — great flavor, tons of seafood. Really good.
6. Abondigas — nice chewy bread and nice spicy sauce to dip. Didn’t try the actual meatball.
7. Corn — probably my least favorite, but still pretty good. Looks like it was grilled with crema on top and some kind of queso. It was ok.

I love this place and I can’t say enough good things. I’ve been coming here 3 years and have never been disappointed! Jenna and David are amazing. Jenna is an attentive, kind, personable waitress that management should be working to keep. David ran food and when he brought appetizers we said we were cold so he went out of his way and rolled over a spare heater. Such great service, time after again. And the Baked Goat Cheese and Coconut Shrimp are still my favorite. Absolutely delicious!

The atmosphere of this restaurant is really nice. It looks really trendy and modern. We went here for lunch and the service is really slow– BUT what makes up for that is all the tapas are so delicious. We ordered a variety of things, but my favorites were the warm jalapeño artichoke dip, cabana wings, and empanada de carne.

Came here again with some coworkers. Amazing again ! We had the avocados and shrimp, goat cheese ball, and the goat cheese dip. And I don’t even like goat cheese ! We ordered Moscow mules, and a variety of entrees, paella, steak and shrimp, pollo championes, and the burger with duck bacon!
Of course we had dessert, lava cake bread pudding and the airy donut like sweet with 3 dipping sauces !
(my apologies for the lack of proper nomenclature but you get the point)
Beautiful atmosphere great service… George …everyone is always friendly .love love love… have to come back to try everything on the menu

Coco Cabana!!! Love saying that! Why! Because it makes me feel like I am in a Caribbean in the middle of Dublin, Ca. :) you can’t get any better than that.

* To the Chef: Empanadas could have been good but it’s just too salty!

Closest Italian restaurant near home and trying to satisfy my craving, my husband took me here for my birthday dinner.
It’s not as pricey as some of my friends say it was. The appetizers are pretty descent. We tried the coco shrimp and lollipop lamb to start our meal and loved it… I would come back for these. Our dinner pasta was awesome. We decided to go for red wine instead of white with my Pesto Pasta/​Prawns. My husband had a Chicken dinner plate. We had excellent service and overall experience was nice… my only somewhat negative to say about this place is… It can get very loud especially when Warriors are playing the Rockets. ;)

This is our first time coming here for our Valentine’s lunch, and we were very pleasantly surprised!
When we first came in, they were really friendly and quickly found us a spot. We came during their happy hour (2 – 6 pm) at around 2:15 and we ordered a variety of tapas. They were all really good, we enjoyed each one of them. The only thing that could’ve been better was the wait for the food. They all took a while to arrive, but besides that, the quality of the food was exquisite! The lamb was perfectly cooked (medium rare), the crab and shrimp dishes tasted very fresh.
We also heard that their pizzas are also good, so we will probably come back and try that another time for sure!

Came here for a birthday party last night while sick. I had one drink and I guess my immune system wasn’t working (or they truly put in more alcohol that the human body can take) and it truly felt like I had ten. So that might have skewed my overall experience, but it is what it is.
I had the burger with duck bacon. Yes, bacon that comes from a duck! Quacktastic! Only problem was that I was so messed up that I really couldn’t judge the taste properly. Service was kinda weird as we started out at the bar and they kicked us to the lounge area for awhile while they get our table ready, but the 60% of the place was empty.
The décor is very nice and fits that of a 5 star restaurant. Very nice. Overall, it’s a nice place and deserves more business than it had.
